random question. Do you guys think old people can go on the FJ (my grandma is 62) . She is healthy and not overweight. Would her glass fall off ??? lol

I'm 6' 2" and on HRRR they said that I was too tall and I put up a whole argument about how the maximum was 6' 8".

Anyway, I'm sure there no maximum height requirment except if there's little room in between where the kuka goes and the scenery. That's all I can think of why there would be a maximum height requirment. All of you guys are probabally safe, its just me that I'm a little nervous about.

According to this week's Entertainment Weekly "sneek peak" article -- a Sirius Black wand is $25.

Thank you for the info, I see from inside the magics video how cramped the shops will be but there are so many things to look at. Its gonna take me hours to get through all this, its so exciting!

I don't think her glasses would fall off. The ride supposedly doesn't go upside down so they shouldn't fall off unless they are extremely loose.

Okay guys here is my bit of insight.........I was at the parks today hoping to all mighty powers that they would soft open......disappointment soon followed. Even worse I watched several families talk to management about how they received emails and talked to Guest Services, blah blah blah....five minutes later escorted in. 10 families in about as many minutes escorted in with a nothing more than "I understand but opening is not till June 18th and those inside are package holders. But today I will let you in......so on so forth"

That was the hardest part for me, to watch people who demand that they receive what they want while not caring that there are close to 300 people thinking the same thing but understanding that UO made a decision and was supposedly sticking to it. Anyways after all that I have heard many different stories....."Come back tomorrow." "Sorry but no one other than package holder till the 18th." "Well there is a chance that we will try to let a few people in." "No, there is no plans for soft." "Try next week." again another so on an so forth.....All of which really aggravating. I am considering going back but to be honest if I watch even one more family complain and get their way in I really am going to scream at someone.

With the above I rest my case on how screwed the frick up this whole thing is. I'm going to bed all my fellow pass holders don't pull this sob story BS to them just to get in these people are beyond pathetic for doing this & are the type of people who make me sick thinking they are entitled to things that they obviously have no right to. Good night

I dont get your post? you said you cant handle waiting until july to read reviews...but you are already reading the spoiler thread??? Someone help me understand this...

Man potter has alot of you guys going nuts...lol

Um, no? I said I've stopped reading the spoiler thread, seeing as how this is the first day the general public (well . . . the general public that booked on-site, any ways) had a chance to ride Forbidden Journey. I don't understand your misunderstanding. At all. How does "stop reading" mean "still reading"?

JW- The people that have no right are the ones that complain their way into something that only a limited number are allowed to. That is the point of my rant that to stop one person from complaining they will escort them in while 300 people or more see this and even get told that no they will not see it no matter what....Think of how many people are madder than the one guest who wouldn't take no for an answer and will stop coming to Universal or spent less $$$ than they would have.

I actually had close to $100 I was willing to spend at the park if I saw WWoHP but instead only spent $10 for lunch.

I just went through the last thirty pages of this thread and am completely overwhelmed. This park looks like everything I have ever wanted and more. I hope I am able to do it all in one day.

The videos are amazing...I definitely stopped breathing from excitement.

The whole Ollivander's scene is really bizarre...it just seemed too scripted and quite awkward.

FotH is a 50 second ride? I never knew that. Is that enough to fill a child with glee? Seemed dumb to me. I would have expected at least 2 minutes. Well, if that is enough for lil kiddies... then ok.
Is that pecker ride just as short over at US?

It's actually 75 seconds long, which is pretty long for a family style coaster. Only 15 seconds shorter than Dragons

Looks like I'm not going to be able to get my Dragon Challenge queue video up until tomorrow. Frog choir video is uploading to YouTube now and I am going to bed. I've been up since 6:30 this morning and have been doing non-stop Potter ever since. Now it is time to crash! :)

So check youtube.com/insidethemagic for the frog choir video in 30-60 minutes, then I'll embed it into the same post tomorrow morning and work on the DC video too.

And to all who are feeling frustrated about not getting in, let me say... the wait is worth it. You will be so overjoyed when you finally step foot into Hogsmeade that you will forget about all frustrations. And then you'll just have a great time.

Here's hoping that I get to ride Forbidden Journey soon! If so, I'll gladly post a spoiler-free and honest review. Until then... sleep!

My understanding is that the next several days will see nothing different than what happened today. That's the whispers I've heard.

Same here....sort of....it's what makes me cautious about going again in the morning....I really don't want to see what happened today happen again.

Just got back to the forums after a long day at IOA, it was great even tho I did not get in. Met alot of really cool people, people that road the ride and got to see Hogsmead. It was fun. I even made it into the Orlando Sentinal story today! http://www.orlandosentinel.com/trav...ld-opens-at-universal20100528,0,5331361.story

Dude, just read it. Very cool! I like how you expressed the frustrations about no public or AP softs, but didn't come off as crazy angry.
