Hope someone here can help me with this. I was at the park on Wednesday for Transformers AP Preview and noticed many other people with APs that were plastic and had their image on it. How do I get in on this? Is this for only employees? Higher Ups? People who have been passholders for a number of years? Thanks for any insight you guys could provide.

I know they used to do that years ago, not sure about now though. Could they have been room keys with pictures on them?

I had one of those way back... why would you want one? The delay in getting them was AWFUL... standing in lines and all of DOT type stuff with cameras etc. I agree they are probably old passholders.

Well with the regular ticket annual pass they often fade. That has happened to me several time. I am glad Disney switched to plastic ones.

These are old. Preferred used to be the best pass and they introduced the premier and made them all paper.

I think many people would pay a few extra bucks to be able to carry a plastic annual pass though. They should try upselling this. Not with the picture still but the plastic.

Nice!

I always liked having durable cards back in the day.

Pardon my French but the paper ones SUCK. I had a really old preferred pass that was plastic, but when I upgraded to premier, I had to get a paper ticket. If it gets wet, or you get caught in the rain, it shrivels up or the bar code fades when its that wet. Simply keeping its wallet rubs the ink off. Bring back the plastic. Guest Passes are still black. whats te excuse as to why APs are not plastic still? It doesn't even need a photo, but bring it back. The paper is pure crap.

I have the plastic one with my picture. Bought it in 2004. I also have a frequent fear pass with my picture from 04.

They should have a option if you want a laminated pass.

Oh and the fact that it costs 10 dollars to replace the paper pass is even more crap. I go through like 3 a year.

I was heartbroken when the annual passes went from plastic to paper, especially after paying a premium for the Premier.

Generally they'll give you one replacement per year for free, followed by a $10 fee every time after that.

BGT and SW have plastic pass upgrades for $5 I don't see why Uni can't do the same.
