Thanks for the heads-up! I saw on Twitter that the M&G went interactive today, but then HTF tweeted a bit later that it went back to automatic because something special was coming (though he couldn't be specific as to what).

I sourcelessly assume that the Simpsons deal included a stipulation that they'd have the only new specialty drinks for some time.
Other than that, any guesses where they'd sell them from? I'm hoping we won't lose Monster Cafe for more Transformers...

I didn't want to start a new thread for this little update, but word is that Bumblebee will have prerecorded sound today, like the other Transformers have had since opening. I'm assuming it'll be sound clips from songs, like it is in the films, any maybe some sound effects.

I have not heard or seen them be interactive I have heard from people that they are. So when we say interactive we mean talking and answering questions?

The standard thing is to have them with prerecorded phrases on a loop. There was one day, though, when they tested them speaking live so they could interact like any face character. I think this is standard at Hollywood, but we've yet to see them do that again.

Actually, this was recorded in California. Live voice actors have been utilized in Orlando for publicity/events. A mock up of the offering was tested in December 2013 for Bill Davis and others who approved of the experience and showed great interest in implementing the offering as part of daily operations. It would seem that there are bigger fish to fry.
