IPs that have been used at the event before (spoiler tagging for length):

That's a total of 41 IPs! What we can eliminate:

The Purge and Evil Dead (not happening)
Any of last year's other IPs (AWIL, Insidious, FVJ, and probably NOES and F13th as well)
Saw (No repeats)
IPs that probably wouldn't be used again (People Under the Stairs, Doomsday, FDTD, CITW, Alice Cooper, Cirque du Freak, Dead Silence)

Eliminating those leaves us with Crypt Keeper, Hellraiser, Silence of the Lambs, The Ring, Child's Play, Penn and Teller, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and Halloween.

So Purge and Evil Dead are officially out?
I'm curious as to why NOES and F13th would be tossed out just because FvJ was used last year... Each character has more than enough material to do multiple different houses.

I never got to see the Saw house, but once again, there is way more than enough material for it to be used and not actually be a repeat. I doubt we're getting Saw though. Why now?

I totally disagree with your assumption that Cabin in the Woods won't be used again. Mike (or someone using the HHN twitter) said that AWiL (which was basically a complete repeat with only 2 years apart) and Cabin in the Woods were 2 of their favorite houses they worked on of all time. If it is one of their favorites of all time, it's most likely coming back at some point. However, if there are truly no repeats then this year doesn't seem as likely considering the limited amount of material to go off.

Silent Hill wasn't well received if I remember correctly, so why bring that back?

I know they classify the Hannibal series as a horror/thriller, but I always felt it was more suspense/thriller. Sure, horrific things take place in the films, but I don't know... Do you think that it could be done as a house on it's own? I guess I'm just not much of a fan really, so it's hard for me to picture it. I think the movie Se7en was more of a horror than any of the Hannibal films.

All I have to say about Resident Evil is that they better go off the movie and do a much better job the next time they attempt it (assuming there is a next time).

Hellraiser had crossed my mind, but I figured they might want to wait until the new film finally gets released. I'd be happy if this does end up being chosen. I'd hope they use a soundstage for this one.

All in all... Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, with an outside shot of Hannibal... That would be some of my guesses for what could be going into the Parade building. Hellraiser would be on the list as well, but like I just said, I'd hope that would be put in a soundstage. Grrr... Just found out M Night Shyamalan is rebooting Tales from the Crypt for TNT (network). God help us all!

So, in a way; this seems like the house location list:

SS21, SS24A, SS24B, SS22, Tents 1 & 2, Shrek Theatre, Parade Building, and (rumored) MIB Overflow.

Any other locations that i missed (or got wrong)?

Great job @ThemeParks4Life -- I think we can safely eliminate the two video game franchises (for better or worse). There were rumors of Penn & Teller meetings--a new P&T house would be a previously used IP, in a sense, but not a repeat. And Hellraiser would probably qualify as my source's "Holy [blank]" house.

@Legacy do your "want to scream" comments basically support the idea there's one "wow" IP left to announce?

Yep. I'll admit it blindsided me, and I didn't believe it until it was confirmed.

Well damn. As impressive as Hellraiser or even Conjuring would be, I don't think either would be unbelievable without confirmation. This sounds even bigger.

Hmmm ... an IP previously or currently featured elsewhere in the park?

If he was blindsided, I'd think it would be something either not done, or not done in a real long time. Either way, I'd doubt that whatever it is, it's probably not the ip going into the parade building.

Legacy also mentioned there would be some disappointment. That is the comment I'm more concerned with. But I suppose there is a chance that what might disappointment 1 person, could also please another.

I think no completely repeated houses and separately themed scare zones alone are enough to make me somewhat pleased.

So, with this new line of questioning what blindsided Legacy with it's mind blowing-ness...I'll throw two out there that I'm sure will get shot down immediately.

I'm going to throw Game of Thrones and Scream into the ring.

GoT because it's been speculated on before (nothing more than rumor, I know), and this season has had some pretty good horror-ish elements to it. With the possibility that Walking Dead isn't coming back, this would be a big "butts in seats" property.

Scream I'm throwing in because I'm sure that creative would still love to do a house, even with what happened last year. I think all of us would be a bit shocked to see that one end up on the list.

Again, I know that most of your will poo-poo these completely, but thinking of off the wall, never going to happen properties is exactly the point.

Unless the rights holder to Scream gives into not representing the TV show and instead, the classic horror movie, I'd doubt it.

As for Game of Thrones, I do not get how in the name of hell it'd be a house.

As for what could be the mind bending IP, was it said if it was a repeat IP or something not seen in HHN?

Because if it's a repeat IP, I could see Halloween back, but as the original sequel. If it's new, I'm curious if they got the film rights to the horror classic, The Shining, thanks to WB.

Not sure if you watch the show or not, but the final scene of last week's episode would actually be pretty sweet.

That or something like Hardhome from last season. Pretty much anything with a bunch of Wights attacking. May as well be zombies.

I'm not sure how "mind-blowing" Halloween would be. It was used two years ago, and last year in Hollywood.

The shining on the other hand...:troll:

The video mentions that every 13 years something happens at castle vampyr. So if anything I say hold off until next year as it will be 13 years from HHN 14.
