It's August 1st tomorrow. These announcements should start rolling out soon. It's about to get spooky. :yikes:

I can't wait! Only 45 days until employee preview night! Outdoor scarezone construction should be starting soon as well in the next 2 weeks I would guess. We already have the massive stage going up. Since we didn't get an announcement this week, we HAVE to get one next week. Mike is on a big press tour now in the UK so hopefully tomorrow when the tour kicks off we get something.

Going to my first ever HHN in my life (been to scare o'winds at Carowinds) but that wont compare im sure...


We are going 9/29. I know thats one of the early days which is good crowd-wise. We've been reading tips, staying at Sapphire.....will we have early access?


Also, is American Horror Story really happening? I know only limited stuff has been announced, but man my wife and I love that show and would love it.

Are you spending your day in the park before HHN starts? If so, take advantage of Stay and Scream. There normally is 4 location but one might be used for AP holder early access. It should for sure be the Hello Kitty area (formally Lucy), Diagon Alley and one of the side streets of the New York area. Basically, these locations will let you stay inside them while you wait for the park to be cleared of day guests. Typically these Stay and Scream locations release 20-30 minutes before HHN starts and the front gates open. Each location has a house that opens early, so whenever the park is clear and the house is ready, you are released and led to the first house. Stay and Scream is a GREAT way to knock out 2-3 houses before most guests even get into their first house.

I personally suggest the Diagon Alley area because they sometimes keep the ride open but the shops and restaurant remain open during Stay and Scream so you can shop and eat while you wait and possibily ride Gringotts!

If you are not going into the park during the day, you should be able to use the hotel guests entrance but it opens at the same time as other guests.

As far as AHS goes, its just a rumor but it is looking more and more likely to be true.

Enjoy your first HHN! I had my first two years ago and I am hooked! By far my favorite theme park/horror experience ever!

You're going to love it. HHN is insane good. This is my third year in a row.

So excited for the real announcement season. The final reveal with all the originals is my favorite part since nobody has anything to base it off of. Just a loose description and a logo, gotta go to actually find out if you're predictions were correct. Kills me there's only so little of them lol

It does seem as of late, as IPs dominate the houses, the scare-zones are where the really fun high-concept original ideas end up.

I don't know about high concept. It's more like, "What's the last thing people would expect to have a chainsaw?"

One of them should be intense though, the way I envision it.
