You do have to wonder if that's what Universal would use as a reference point since they clearly used 3D Land/World for Mario but even then Mario is still pretty consistent with art style while Zelda isn't.
3D Land and 3D World seem to be the generic Mario art style, but it seems weird that they would base the land off of the weakest selling games in the franchise.

Maybe the jetpack thing could be related to Metroid. Like it could be that you are Samus and are given a jetpack.

It could even be based around the Federation Force game. That game has a four player mode and in the picture from the patent it shows 8 people flying around.

Do you guys think they released this announcement because that article was published in the Orlando Business Journal?

What if that art isn't very similar to how it will end up looking, but they wanted to get an official statement out because they wanted an official statement out if people were starting to discuss the rides so they used that art with the statement?
Federation Force? I don't think they want to piss off the fan base any more.

@Teebin Are you one of the main sources for these rumours?
Teebin is always a primary source for rumors. He rarely speaks of that which he does not know. His accuracy rate is stunning. About the only times he may have been wrong is when Universal changed plans in mid stream, which is understandable. Or when he's playing with the minds of UC. :)

If they announced a Metroid ride but then said it was based on crap known as Federation Farce I would be beyond angry. The game would've screwed me twice.
