I'm going all in on Bourne. Ticks all the right boxes from what we know and backed up by trustworthy people.

It's been Bourne (or as originally brought up, Bond) in my head for a long while, when I think @Legacy mentioned that they'd be expanding the armory that was already in place from T2 back then.

I never really bought into the Bond idea because it's not a Universal IP but I could see how wires could have got crossed.

I think it was a topic discussed when the Bond film race was in it's high.

But that being said, it was going to be one or the other, as Sing and Pitch Perfect doesn't exactly use an armory's worth of guns.

Yeah. Held out possibility for Bond if rights worked out. Bourne easily the choice if not. Basically the same stuff bottom line. Action, guns, fights. Just different names, though Bond's more familiar to people. Easier to market Bond, but really no big deal either way. More important that the show has good writing and effects.

Actually, that sounds like fun. SLOP pre show, in reality, unless they changed it.

I hope they don’t just do a copy paste job for this. I feel like T2:3D’s story relied on you having prior knowledge of the movies, which I think they could get away with because it’s a classic.

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t know anything about Bourne, it’s characters or settings. I hope they don’t expect me to, to follow along and it relies more on the action and stunts.

I have to think they'll keep it detached from the film series in general, and if they use any of the films, it may just reference Jason Bourne from 2016 in some capacity that doesn't require you to watch the film to understand.

Like Alex said, you won't need any prior knowledge. They will set it up in the pre-shows and first scene. Jason Bourne is an international spy/hitman/or however they want to present him. From there "something goes wrong".

Not only did I hear this project ISN'T happening, but I heard they're packing up Horror Makeup, putting it on a flatbed, and trucking it over to Site B. Hollywood will be replaced with a giant Minions-themed gift shop.
