Halloween Horror Nights 28 General Discussion

Like every other season, quickly became unwatchable, but those clown masks are possibly the most disturbing thing I've seen on TV. I think the clowns alone could make an effective, Instagram-friendly ScareZone, while sidestepping the political content. Let them come and go via pest control truck.

I have been so tempted to concept this entire thing out...

I'd rather that subtitle be used for a Rick and Morty attraction...

Morty - "Ah geesh, Rick. Do I have to sit through the safety spiel? I know what I'm doing."

Rick - "You're a *burp* tourist, Morty. Tourists are idiots."

Rick - "What the hell did you do, Morty? Why are the ride vehicles changing direction?"

Morty - "I didn't do anything, Rick. Haven't you noticed that this always just happens?"

Rick - "That's *bleep.* It's quantifiably impossible that something would just 'go wrong' on every single attraction at a theme park."

Morty - "Well, obviously your 'quantifiable impossibility' keeps happening."

Rick - "This is all Jerry's fault."

Jerry (getting run over by another ride vehicle) - "Can you stop casting blame and save me? Someone?"

Summer - "I'm so over this. I'm going to the pool."

That is amazing. I have not looked at the rights at all, but if Simpsons ever goes away, this would be the thing I'd pursue the hardest.

Well over in Hollywood we’ve speculated a Cult zone, if Orlando got it too it would allow another IP to be in the house. I still hope Cult would be a House though(at least here - in Hollywood we NEED Asylum) since there were a lot of maze worthy scenes

Changing subjects a bit - have their been any rumors as to potential changes with the alcohol policy for HHN28?

I know that the changes last year happened rather quickly (and unexpectedly) - but IMO didn't take away from the event all that much (except for making Finnegan's a bit awkward as a S&S). I was still able to get a drink (and quickly) between houses and continue on my way.

I too think AHS Cult would lend itself much better to a zone than a house, particularly in Hollywood or AotS. It was always hard for me to imagine them pulling off an entire maze just based on Cult.

I never post here, but always lurking. Watching AHS Cult I imagined it to be in the streets. The truck leaking green gas would be able to make an appearance. Add the clowns & angry protesters on top of that / cult leader on a stage show. It just makes more sense to be on the streets than in a house, in my opinion.

They should have divided the American Horror Story houses in to like 2 seasons instead of 3 and 3. This year if they do 7 as a house it will probably be disappointing compared to its predecessors.

And maybe I'm alone in this but clowns are a bit played out. Zombies too but DE is such a unique format I'm cool with it.

That change was implemented Friday morning of the first night. (The specialty drinks were clearly designed to be sold with alcohol in them them.) So while I'm also curious about any changes to the policy, probably won't know until the event starts.

I don't expect any worthwhile information on this until September. Even then, look how last second the change was last year, so you can't really trust anything until the event begins.

The alcohol side of things is managed by Food and Beverage/Operations. While I'm sure some people here have connections, it's very much a "take it has it comes" sort of thing. I'd hazard this year will see slight modifications from last year, but be very similar.

I can understand them having the first two be three seasons. Remember the last two years AHS was THE big draw. This year another certain IP is taking that place.
