It's the 6th film but yeah your right, it's the sequel to T2, disregarding 3, Salvation, and Genisys. I believe they are making 2 more after 6 if it is successful.

I’m actually really excited for the new take on it. In my mind “Battle Across Time” was the end of the trilogy. All the non-Cameron sequels have been all kinds of shades of terrible.

I actually liked Salvation. Genisys was terrible though and Arnold was the only good thing about it.

Damn, Linda Hamilton is looking good for 61.

I have hope that this will be a good film with Tim Miller directing and James Cameron returning to produce and write the script.
