I’ll just say that it would take a Scream-like fallout for this to NOT happen. They’re that far with it.

Come dropping bombs.

Also if we thought last year was crazy. Mix aliens with ST2 and maybe Hill House. Budget must be insane this year too.

So with Alien the speculated IP lineup would be:

- Alien - Pressure
- Stranger Things 2 - Hysteria
- Haunting of Hill House - Onyx?
- Hellraiser - Drill
- The Thing - Dog
- Killer Klowns from Outer Space - Cotton

Which leaves Salt, Jerky, Pit, and Chicken as potential originals

3/6 of those properties involve aliens so curious to see how that goes

Happens a lot. Someone shops a script around, a studio rejects on buying the rights, slightly alters it, and puts out a similar film.

real quick, while i think the original alien might happen, the picture says "Weyland Yutani Corp". the company was actually named in it's sequel "Aliens". so we might actually get a Aliens house...please make this happen universal.

Probably won’t see too much resistance to either version. Just the Alien IP is a huge get as long as it’s a stand-alone and not with predator again.

Aside from the addition of Predator making it feel more "action," what went wrong with AvP, given that it was polled as the most anticipated?

there wasn't any vs, and it was mostly just a alien maze with only 3 rooms of predator

IMO the puppetry wasn't as effective coming off of AWIL at 23. Predators were too bulky to be effective. Actual "versus" portion was a let down, as there was basically none. Fun house, but just not what it could / should have been.

Pressure won’t be Alien if things stand as they are.

And I’m going to NOT get my hopes up. I love my xenomorphs.

Prometheus and Covenant are both linked to Weyland Yutani Corp, as well
