My guess is the vacation destinations suffering for attendance are the ones requiring masks be worn. People that are safety covid 19 conscious, like Teebin & me, probably are going to, for the most part, avoid large crowds regardless of whether masks are worn or not, or there's severe safety precautions.I wouldn't go to any large crowded event at this point in time. Mask requirements are probably greatly limiting the people that will attend, because the people that 'will attend large crowd events', are not particularly concerned about contracting the virus, thus they're turned off by having to wear a mask, especially in the hot summer heat..........I feel very safe in my area of the country since there have been very few cases of community spread, mostly nursing homes here. So I feel completely safe in the general community. But if they were to allow attendance at sporting events, or one of the county fairs opened, there is no way I would attend a crowded event like that.For that same reason I will not be attending Kennywood Park this season, even though it's only minutes away from my home, masks or no masks.
