My apologies, I have been trying to follow along but I don't seem to understand what exactly happened with Evil Dead and why it's out all of a sudden?

To be clear, I know nothing about a potential replacement. This is just me throwing an idea out there, though it’s fair to wonder if they could go this route given the circumstances. It’s also possible they have a brand new idea that’s workable!

This is the second HBO rumoured house, so would they go for another HBO horror franchise( Conjuring , Malignant etc)

I think its too late at the moment for them to really grab an ip, its best for them to get their hard hats on and think of a quick original house to replace what was once there, Evil Dead definitely left a hole in their plan but they are very quick with a handful of originals in their backpockets.

If I had to guess I think the movie might get delayed and they didn’t wanna have a house for a movie that hasn’t released that’s the only thing I can think of. Either that or the discovery merger threw a wrench in things
