1) SWO announces a cutting-edge ride system for their park

2) Hype builds for the first ride system of its kind in Orlando coming to SWO

3) Ride opens to find out most of the money has been blown in the ride system.

Now we wait for this to be replaced by an indoor coaster in 10 years.

For what it's worth, I don't think this is sounding like an Empire of the Penguin situation. For one, you actually need hype around the ride and this one simply isn't getting it. Meanwhile EotP had a big marketing campaign and the sheer fact we all didn't know any better, so there was notably a ton of hype for it.

At the moment, S3A QU3ST (yes, they gave the logo the three M3GAN lines for the "E"'s.) doesn't have a big marketing campaign, and there's been enough underwhelming additions from the parks since EotP for folks to know to keep expectations low.

Similar nostalgia angle with a different medium, but your post made me think of this…give me an EcoQuest attraction.

Interested to see how they’re going to navigate the entrance/exit around the service road, one that is pretty vital in terms of entertainment. Unless they plan on rerouting it behind the show building in less than a year

Didn’t know where else to post, but my family and I decided to visit Seaworld on Thanksgiving. The coasters are all great, hadn’t been since the early 2000s when they only had Kraken and Atlantis. Ride ops were an absolute disaster though. We had the quick queue, and at most rides they physically didnt have someone to check for them. Pipeline specifically felt like an absolute free for all, especially that they were only running one train. It was very much giving regional park or state fair vibes after being so used to a disney/universal theme park vacation.
