The WDW Twitter has been active with ToT lately. I don’t if it’s because of Halloween or if they intend on doing something with it.

They usually pick an attraction, shop, or restaurant each day to highlight over multiple tweets. Today was ToT likely due to Halloween like you said. I like when they reveal little bits of trivia about rides like that, but it usually doesn't mean anything.

I'll second awhen's comment. I actually enjoy ground pictures better since they give you the same view that you'll experience in the park.

Gertie got a new paint job and so is Min & Bill's. Work here has to be finished by November 9th as this is for a new Holiday display in the area.

The new scene from "The Last Jedi" coming to Star Tours will debut on November 17th. It will likely be like the Jakku scene where it will be a temporarily permanent scene guests see every ride no matter what.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but DHS' Christmas Tree will be going in the center of Echo Lake, which is why they are currently doing a refurbishment on the area. Expect the tree to go up stupid soon.

I’d be tempted to say it’s fan service like the mural that appeared recently but that was painted to feature DHS Tower of Terror so I really don’t know what to make of this.

Paradise Pier is being rethemed to Pixar Pier to nobody's amusement, except maybe John Lasseter.
