This thing is really gonna take THREE more years to build?
A new, untested ride could take several years of test and adjust.
Wait. what? I thought this was a 2019 expansionThis thing is really gonna take THREE more years to build?
Yeesh..When is Rat opening?Everything I've read says 2021. This does have something to do with WDW wanting it for their 50th anniversary.
2020?Yeesh..When is Rat opening?
Per: Ratatouille, insiders have pretty consistently pegged it for sometime in 2020, except Jim Hill, who has said summer 2019.
Given the pace at which they're working, I don't think a late 2019 would be unreasonable, but I'd put more money on 2020.
With this building popping out over the tree line this bad, I hope they sell bottles for Disney fan's tears
Initially they wanted SOMETHING open in Epcot in 2019 to pull some crowds away from Hollywood Studios, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. I'm guessing next year is going to be a nightmare at DHS...hopefully Disney learns its lesson and fast tracks a phase 2 expansion to the park, as well as additional rides at the other parks to spread out guests.I think this is all a giant juggling game. 2019 is possible but Star Wars and Mickey is opening in 2019 and they’ll want to pad out all the new ride openings.
I wonder if the building will be poking out from the top of that view...Perhaps, like RnRc, the showbuilding is far away enough to hide itNo this is a Roller Coaster, but we don't know the story behind it as of yet.
Yes, it will poke out above, and yes it will be themed just like the exterior of the ToT makeover in California. I've seen the concept art.
Oh boyYes, it will poke out above, and yes it will be themed just like the exterior of the ToT makeover in California. I've seen the concept art.
I totally get complaints on this decision, but to me, at least they are planning on theming the building.Yes, it will poke out above, and yes it will be themed just like the exterior of the ToT makeover in California. I've seen the concept art.
