Yea, it is strange to not see a parallel post on the UO blog today. I’m expecting their announcement Thursday, which is not only the day UO usually posts news, but is also the official opening of Infinity Falls and media event.

I suspect that this is a new announcement strategy. Like SeaWorld "leaking" info then linking to the leaked info.

Throughout this whole process, my eye keeps finding this structure. Does anyone have another angle of this building? Maybe from FOH?

If you peek through the large tree in the foreground of the concept image, you can kinda see a turret in the same style of the ruins.

Isn't that dormer on a side of the building the guests on the coaster won't see?

I eat my words, the concept art is real. They are really confident in the end result I guess

Theoretically, riders will see the dormer from the inside and it will be startlingly beautiful. :look:

I feel like even as simply an initial hype post, the art caption slightly under-sold the experience they surely want people to expect. Only terming it a ‘twisting roller coaster’ doesn’t quite do justice to what they’re building, and seems strangely at odds with the usual hyperbole used with FJ / Gringotts.

(I know, we blame them for over-hyping, then I complain they’re not hyping enough. Irony not lost.)
