I'm assuming that Gunn will now be brought in to film segments for the ride. I was actually kind of worried that the ride would tonally feel different than the movies because Imagineering would've done the writing/directing.

The company does large scale domes for planetariums and such, so I’d assume it’s for the show building. But it’s entirely possible it could be for a large preshow. The concept art does look pretty grand!

I'm just happy that the movies will continue with the vision intended and hopefully Gunn will be able to add his touch to this ride. IIRC, he's a massive theme park fan.

The panels are all pre-coated on both the GotG building and Ratatouille. Given that, I doubt they'll paint it.

Google Earth has updated their 3D maps for anybody who wants to have a rough idea of how visible the gravity building is.
