From the Behind the Thrills video, they mentioned they didn't see the preshow. Makes sense not to hold up the line for now. I'm surprised they put the preshow right as you enter, but I guess in a way it makes sense that they wanted people to see it and then move on to the rest of the queue. I'll post the actual video on the review thread, since it makes more sense there.
So based on this queue tour:
It doesn't seem the queue is as plussed as I had hoped, probably still the least impressive Potter queue outside Hipogriff. Lot's of quiet, dark tunnels. And a big switch back room.

They didn’t run the Hagrid/Arthur preshow because they were doing interviews in that room this afternoon.
I think this might be my new favourite photo of Hagrids.
That's too bad. Many people on here were thinking it would be like an attraction all to itself.
Guess it’s not pouring rain at Universal as bad as it is at my home right now.
Holy crap, it's almost hard to believe that's a real photo and not a piece of concept art. Wow.
The efforts to plant a forest really paid off. Even new this place looks like its been there for years. I cant wait to see those trees and bushes grow over the coming years.

They played some of the hype videos for the ride earlier. I'm guessing the rain is throwing things off.

The boxes blocking the entrance wasn't such a big problem after all. Nothing a bit of magic(and TMs pushing stuff off the way after the cameras stopped recording) can't do.
