To bring up in patents, Univerasl apparently filed this..

If it is from Universal, it actually reminds me of Mystery Castle from Phantasialand..

Interesting. That would be a great fit for a second attraction in Classic Monsters land (after the expansive animatronic filled Monsters E-ticket!)

Mystic Manor? Pooh's Honey Hunt? Tower of Terror?
Right. ToT’s ‘trackless’ isn’t that big of a game changer by being trackless (it easily could have been on a track and the ride enjoyment would be similar).

But Pooh’s dream ‘dance’ scene? Trackless alone makes that entire scene elevate to the next level. We literally have an example in Florida of what it would be without.

Is that for a show or ride? Can’t tell really plus I’m not good at analyzing these documents haha
It's for a tower ride (up/down) with interactive features:

INTERACTIVE TOWER ATTRACTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Abstract

A ride attraction system includes a tower track and a ride vehicle configured to accommodate one or more riders. The ride vehicle is coupled to and configured to move relative to the tower track and the ride vehicle includes one or more user input devices. The ride attraction system further includes an image system configured to display a ride environment, wherein the user input devices are configured to enable the one or more riders to interact with elements of the ride environment via the one or more user input devices. The ride attraction system further includes a controller communicatively coupled to the ride vehicle and the image system and configured to control movement of the ride vehicle relative to the tower track based on signals from the one or more user input devices.

Hmmm. Ministry of Magic attraction?

That screams "POTTER" to me. Maybe that's one of the E-tickets?

I know this probably sounds crazy to some of you, but it would be awesome if there was some sort of space exploration simulator in the hub. Like Smugglers Run without the combat. Just you, some extra companions, and the limitless sky. At least for a few minutes.

It doesn't matter about game changers, it's cheaper now to have sensor pucks in the ground and have tackles vehicles than building a traditional rail ride system. It just is.

While that is great information, I never doubted you. :toast:

I was just mentioning a ride that benefited where someone would be ‘wowed’ because it was trackless. Pooh’s dream scene is one of those.

As many pointed out. If Universal wants their own, they could easily do a Luigi's Mansion themed ride.
That'd be a great attraction, they wouldn't have to worry about making it a roller coaster or anything. Just an omnimover with maybe the ability to aim your gun at the ghosts?
Going through the classic rooms and having ghosts and the classic noise pop up sounds. Yes please!
