The fact that Disney managed to drop Star Wars Galaxy Edge comments into three of their family comedies dialogue is really annoying because its not even subtle nor did it make sense especially on Black-ish. Why they hell would a grown man and his fiance who never showed any interest in Star Wars want to Honeymoon in Batuu? At least the Goldbergs one made some sense thanks to it being the 80s and Star Wars was a heavy part of that decade.

However that shows a huge level of desperation.
Disney is so good at synergy until they get ham handed when they shoehorn it into their sitcoms...

Here's the Rise of The Resistance Preview. Really didn't show anything new but main that first scene is gonna be something else

A note about the railings... I'm pretty sure the ride vehicles will pass through this area, on their way from the load rooms to the first scene. The railings aren't to keep us from touching the AAs, they're to keep us from getting run over. Notice how much space is between the railings and the AAs. That might be for the RVs to pass by. After all, there is no track, so it's hard to tell, but that's the first scene of the ride, technically. (Or, so I have heard.)

We at least this confirms that the first scene in the hanger is part of the queue. There was a lot of confusion over this even though all the insiders were in agreement that this was before boarding.

edit: just read Alice comment. And yah that makes sense. So after exiting the transport vehicle we are escorted though the hanger into preshow rooms where we board the vehicles to exit back into the hanger?

@Alicia Just to be clear...the "transport" will dump you into this room with all the Storm Troopers, you will then load into the ride vehicles and then pass in front of the Storm Troopers again? Just want to make sure I'm following correctly.

They talk about the merchandise at the end and how it’s exclusive to Galaxy’s Edge. Nothing shown looked like the crap you couldn’t buy from Walmart or online. Hell, even Knotts Berry Farm was selling Star Wars merchandise in one of its shops.

It's a pretty darned impressive looking room. Really feels like you are in a hangar bay in space.

Are those stormtroopers going to move at all? Would be cool if they looked at you every now and then like the Gringotts goblins. Feels off seeing them entirely motionless, especially if you spend a lot of time in this room.

I beleive they're going to move. At least the first few rows will move their heads/arms to make it seem more lifelike. Rise definitely looks like the best thing to come of this land.

Idk where I read it earlier on here, but someone mentioned this is a Star Wars theme park for Disney fans, but not for Star Wars fans. I think thats the single best way to put it.

a good friend of mine who despises Disney and theme parks in general, but loves Star Wars has been 3 times already...So I don't think making a generalization like this is necessary.

Actions speak louder than words. This media blitz is embarrassing.

Agreed, now yes there's been a plethora of ABC sitcoms that have gone to DL/WDW, with a good chunk of them showing off the newest thing. (Wilderness Lodge, DCA's "The New Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, The New Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, The New Twilight Zone Tower of Terror." Etc.)

But for three sitcoms to talk about the same new thing in the same night? That's a disgusting level of shill which you can't hide as anything but.

Meanwhile, Modern Family's DL episode is still one the best ones. Showcasing all the family members encountering real and relatable as all heck issues. (Except for one side plot.) They didn't even advertise Cars Land which was the new thing. (Which was officially advertised by one of the kids on the show, even!) I've also heard the Middle's ep is a good one, too.

wow....guess they want to make sure negative remarks don't scare potential business away. Plus they stay on Disney's good side.

They’ve just repainted a plane for Galaxy’s Edge and have a huge promotion for a trip in February. I guess they don’t need the negative press.

It’s one thing to delete comments but Disney saying it’s a success is something else all together.
