Mary Poppins Attraction - UK Pavilion

If I had to lose one... bring back the theater. Some incredibly naive part of me thinks they’ll dust off those plans again one day soon.

    Future of Shrek 4-D Orlando

It's my 6 year old's favorite thing in the parks. Has been for a while. My wife makes the ultimate sacrifice every trip to watch it with her...

    Probably 3x the attendance.

    Remy's Ratatouille Adventure

Ya- I don’t like it at all. Let’s hope it’s hidden from 90% of the land and only really visible as you make your way to the Rat. I’ll judge from the ground IRL, but that thing is huge and lit up and I’m not sure if I’m going to be a fan. But Frozen was at least done within theme. The meet and...

    Super Nintendo World (Osaka)

I can see the similarities to WWoHP and the use of the name "world" associating it as something to be its own park. That said, it certainly didn't hurt UOR w/ Hogsmeade. So even though you could see it as a "problem", it's a "problem" every park in existence would want.

    Will Disney replace Muppet-Vision 3-D?

They did just open 4 new rides in the last year and a half with one more coming online in less than two months. They desperately needed rides, but the park is actually in decent shape right now. It could always have more, but losing one of their least attended attractions for a few weeks isn’t...

    More Changes Coming to CityWalk?

With the caveat being “given the option”. Disney doesn’t give them the option to eat elsewhere, and I haven’t heard of any stories of starvation at WDW. And people on-site there aren’t eating all their meals at the rainforest cafe exclusively. Universal is on its way to being much closer with...

    Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness

Right. That’s why I said Disney and not MCU. They seem do it more than the other studios, right? Or am I just imagining it.

    Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness

Maybe I’m just more tuned in because this is a theme park forum so Disney movies are obviously mentioned a lot- but am I crazy in thinking Disney has had an abnormal amount of directors quitting, getting fired, disputes, etc than other studios? It just seems like every 5th movie they do there’s...

    More Changes Coming to CityWalk?

As is cow fish and a couple other chains. But being “run by universal” is a sharp departure from their own unique property. If there was an On The Border there “run by universal”, I likely wouldn’t eat there. But I will eat at Antojitos. Not only do they get a full cut of the profits, they get...

    Middle Earth coming to UOR?

Shops and restaurants where? I like @Descendo’s use of two lands. 3 locations would be too much, so you’d have to pick between isenguard and Rivendell* and Rivendell* is the better land to have in a theme park environment. But many locations, including Isenguard, could easily get incorporated...

    More Changes Coming to CityWalk?

Fully agree. The only way I see it changing is if there was a direct connection to the conference center some day. Also- none of those 3rd party restaurants are safe. They could easily get consumed by a Universal property at the end of any of their leases. If I’m Universal, I’d rather have my...

    Epcot Overhaul (General Discussion)

I’m a sucker for brisket. Being so young, Texas wasn’t the creator of a variety of foods, but considering they introduced both Smoked Brisket and Chips and Salsa to the world; I’ll say what we lacked in quantity we’ve made up for in quality.

    Super Nintendo World (Osaka)

Are you familiar with how Osaka does their announcements? Is it the same as domestic regarding timing of the concept art, opening dates, etc? @Brian G. ?

    Future of Toon Lagoon

Ripsaw Falls a top tier attraction? You missed the /s It’s an embarrassment. Maintenance is atrocious and the queue is on par with Six Flags. The sooner they drop Dudley, the better. And just to be clear, I’m not against water rides; quite the opposite. Splash is my favorite ride at WDW and...

    Middle Earth coming to UOR?

Really, who cares about the Amazon show? They didn’t have Disney’s Marvel but they have Marvel and it’s just fine. The iconic movies are the sell here, not the totally unproven Amazon show. I’m glad you mentioned Oz @Disneyhead - that old concept art for the park in Kansas was incredible...

    Mythos Thoughts?

100% Agree Not my favorite, that would be Boardwalk, but could see why it would be. Pools are amazing w/ adult area and family area. And the harbor with an amazing view and boat access with the nightly opera and stores/shops surrounding in one small area is very impressive. Really, the only...

    Middle Earth coming to UOR?

While I agree the rides at TL are better than the only attraction left at LC (Poseidon); LC truly does make for a perfect transition from Seuss to HP. It’s going to have to be an IP that doesn’t make too jarring of a transition. The reason TL can work on the way to Kong is there is a ton of...

    Future of Toon Lagoon

I’d rather them get rid of Popeyes altogether than try to retrofit something. And I doubt they would try to retrofit it. LotR would be a phenomenal IP for any park to get. Of all the parks in the US, IoA would certainly be the best fit thematically. It blends perfectly with the other islands...
