Universal's Epic Universe Wish List & Speculation

From what we've seen, each land seems to have multiple weenies, as they are all their own cohesive units. Universal's playbook for these lands seems to be enticing you with small, yet thematically recognizable entrances (such as a Warp Pipe), then hitting you with a big reveal of the land's...

    The Mandalorian

Reading it, it almost sounds like they took the squinching idea from the Amazing Spider-Man ride and created a system that could apply that effect in real time based on the position of the camera.

    January Trip to UOR

Okay! Some of my thoughts on Islands of Adventure first. Easily my favorite park out of the two, due to both the intricacy of the theming and the collection of attractions. In a way, each of the islands almost feel like proto-Diagon Alleys, in that they are somewhat separated from one another...

Universal's Epic Universe Wish List & Speculation

Simple idea for Monsters Ride assuming it uses a system similar to Forbidden Journey... Mount the carousel to the ceiling and face the projection domes downwards (imagine the domes attached to the blades of a ceiling fan). Have the guests positioned with their backs to the ground and simulate...

    January Trip to UOR

Just got back from my Universal trip and boy do I have more context for these forums now! Had a fun time and managed to get on Hagrid's 4 times (2 sidecar, 2 motorcycle, once in the front). Will be back with more thoughts after I pack and rest tomorrow.

Should DCA Get a Coco Ride?

People probably see Goofy as the more likely location given its proximity to the Plaza de La Familia and the potential operational difficulties that might come from relocating the parade building behind Paradise Pier.

Rise of the Resistance - Boarding Passes/Uptimes (DHS)

For those who have been, do you know how getting a board pass without the app would work? Also, when would be a good time to arrive at the park?

    Volcano Bay Expansion?

If Universal is still attempting to market VB as their third theme park, with the following implication that VB rides and experiences are of a higher quality than other water parks, then I think Universal might benefit from adding an innovative indoor facility, along the lines of Rulantica...

Universal's Epic Universe Wish List & Speculation

I'm gonna throw my hat into the speculation ring with some ideas for ride names: Super Nintendo World: Mario Kart Yoshi's Adventure Mine Kart Madness (These are all already known, so nothing too spectacular here) Land of Monsters Frankenstein and the Creatures of the Night (rumored advanced...

    January Trip to UOR

Hey guys, I'll be heading to Universal Orlando Resort for the first time in January, which I personally find kind of insane. It's always been in the back of my mind as a potential trip ever since I saw the promo videos on the UOR website with this gem of a song. Anyways, my main plan is to...

Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash (Opening 2020)

It just seems strange that they would just drop this version given how much development seemingly went with it (EDIT: Well, maybe not that strange given how easy it is to concept and how expensive it is to build in the theme park industry). Usually Universal doesn't put this much effort into...

Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash (Opening 2020)

Next thing you know, we'll finally figure out what they were going to do with the Mummy.

Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash (Opening 2020)

It's kind of interesting that this ride also had 38 ride vehicles, which is the number Rise of the Resistance is also rumored to have. Not sure if that's just a coincidence or if reflects some design standard for trackless rides of this size.

Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash (Opening 2020)

Gotcha. That's kind of cute, actually! And leads well into a gift shop $$$ Any chance the version above comes to Orlando? The fact that I was able to easily find this online after a quick Google search doesn't seem to bode well for this version becoming a reality...:(
