Yes, that's a good point. I'm hoping my experience with Knotts this year is better than mine was with HHN (which wouldn't be too difficult, given I went through Exorcist and Hill House and only saw, if I'm being generous, 4 actors each and none seemed to be very into their roles), but...

Not sure how you can look at mazes like Origins, Dark Ride, or The Depths and think they look cheaper compared to Ash vs. Evil Dead, Pandora's Box, or This Is The End, but agree to disagree.

AWIL: Exorcist also took a few years to get, and the wolf puppets are already built and still around, given how we see them reused nearly every year at this point. Freddy vs Jason: Exorcist was also used at Horror Made Here, so don't see the difference there. Poltergeist: Point still stands.

And The Shining, AWIL, Freddy vs Jason, Poltergeist, and Evil Dead don't?

I'm still baffled as to why they picked The Exorcist to return and put in the soundstage, when it gains nothing from the expanded space. Would've been more interesting to see something like The Shining, AWIL, or Trick R Treat in the stage instead, since they all felt a little cramped.

I'd kill for a Twin Peaks or a David Lynch mashup house. Could easily do a Black Lodge house containing surreal scenes from across his filmography.

Exorcist reboot is still happening at Blumhouse, but is in early development so we're a few years out from it happening. My guess would be 2023 at the earliest, given Blumhouse's and David Gordon Green's slates.

The Beetlejuice does Hollywood treatment could also potentially point to Psycho.

Great job! A really tricky film to translate into a house properly, but I think you really nail the surreal tone and oddness while also avoiding it becoming a book report walkthrough of the movie. I'd kill for this to become a real house. Keep up the good work!

Pleased to see both Time and Collective make it in the documentary lineup. Probably my two favorite films of 2020 and definitely worth checking out.
