Agreed, but most people I know use the word Epic to mock what ever comes from Ben Shapiro or Gearbox these days. They would probably make fun of the park name and view it as more of a joke.

It was brought up rather recently, saw it brought up in either the blue sky or general expansion one last week. That and universal seems to like the word epic a lot recently, or at least their marketing department does.

It's nice to be wrong about this only being about Jurassic Park. It's also nice that we are finally going to officially unveil the third park (though they should not use Epic in the name, every time I see it, I think of a certain "now this is epic" tweet).

The parks have been the thing that has benefited the most from the Comcast acquisition.

You have to keep your expectations low with Universal stuff, though I didn't think of that. Here's hoping that the Universal Monsters land hasn't been scrapped.

OT and PT characters don't fit the land, but another ride, music in the area (hell even the 15 minute loop at Harry Potter is better than just ambient sounds) and some non-human and non-wookie walkarounds will help make the land a lot better.

There's also the fact that a lot of the GP is holding out for Star Wars land as they thought it was going to be extremely crowded, but even after the parks are empty and Disney trying to make that point no one is still coming. They don't even know the rides there, they just know to avoid it for...

But seriously, it sucks that the cast members are taking the majority of the cuts for low crowds. You think that some of the upper management would take some of the force, but Disney is too vain for that.

Yeah I overreacted a lot, though you should see some of the reactions on the other Disney sites. Anyways, crowds seem to be increasing for DL.

Locals vs. APs is a small part in this. People thought that the park would be crowded as hell once star wars land opened, and because of that, we are seeing the parks become very dead. That and Chapek and co somehow thought having next to none OT content and setting it on a planet no one even...

Aside from the empty entrance into the pen (they could have at least had one of those spheres falling), I think this was a great update. It could have been a lot worse, everything could have been replaced with screens, but Universal actually kept most of the animitronics for once. Hopefully...

So in other words, construction (or at least earthmoving) has finally begun?
