First time doing horror nights and I’m so glad I managed to do it. Did all houses opening night and most of them multiple times on Sunday of opening weekend. Here’s my review/ranking of each house and scarezone, I’m actually quite surprised at how my list turned out.
Houses:
10. Stranger...
Flying over from the UK tomorrow and I can't believe I'll be riding Hagrid in 2 days (fingers crossed). Seems like the best time to arrive at the park is still around 7:45 as long as there was no rain the night before?
What's the best order to hit the tent houses in the back? I know they exit in different places so to avoid more walking should we start with the ones at MIB and then go to the Kidzone ones or the other way round?
I'm sure that this will be a good show. I just wish they had made something which would draw the crowds away from some of the houses rather than something people might catch a few minutes of as they walk past the lagoon.
That being said, I'm sure that what people do see will be really good...
Ghostbusters most anticipated. HO1TC definitely my most...feared. Though, that could be left-over anxiety from being terrified of Dr. Satan as a kid. Seriously going to have to hit a bar before going through that one.
Well, count me in as officially stressed :afraid:
My aim is to just get all the houses done on opening night with express and I'll be happy with that, hopefully its not too much of a stretch. We also got the BOGOF offer so we have tickets for Sunday to come and get the houses done that we...
Wow thank you! Thats great, I didn't even know where the S&S entrance was so I really needed this. We'll plan to get there at 4 or before (probably having late lunch/early dinner in CityWalk first) to try to be in that main section. Fingers crossed we have easy access to that bar lol
Thanks Captain! Whats the yellow square in that pic? Is that where they release everyone? Am I also right in thinking the Stay & Scream location is basically an open area where you can sit/wander etc until they release everyone?
Thanks guys, this is exactly what I needed.
We're going opening weekend as that's the only time our vacation overlaps with HHN. We have express for the Friday (opening night) and will be doing Stay & Scream. We're expecting heavy crowds and will be trying our best to get every house done once...
This year will be my first time attending HHN and I'm sure I'm not the only one on here trying to plan the best night possible. I wanted to create a thread where people can share their tips that they've learnt over the years so that us newbies can learn a thing or two and not make as many...
Going September 6th and 8th. First ever HHN and coming over from the UK so we're really excited. Doing stay & scream and we have express for the Friday so hoping to get everything done on the Friday and then re-do our favourites on the Sunday.
Can't wait!
Wow, 8 rides will be quite something for a single land. Makes me really excited for this new park. I think Universal has set the bar extremely high if the real park ends up looking anything like the concept art.
I'm also intrigued by these two large buildings by the entrance. @Alicia have you...
Hi all,
First time going to HHN and just wondering about the benefits of the promotional ticket that's out now (for the next couple of days). We are planning to go on the 6th or 7th of September and get express.
Is the flex ticket +1 free night a good deal based on previous years? Will the...
Hi all,
Hope this is in the right place. Me and my other half are staying in Aventura over in UOR from August 28th-September 11th coming over from the UK. We usually go around this time almost every year as the September weather is still hot but the parks aren't too crowded, though there isn't...
Me: I wonder what's going on in the new Universal expansion thread
*Opens thread, sees two pages discussing the impending downfall of the global economy*
Me: Nevermind
May I ask how the chassis will be hidden from view in load? I initially thought of folding platforms a la Sheikra but you can't really do that if the trains are moving continuously.
