Was thinking about this myself actually. Logistically I don’t think this would particularly work, especially as I would imagine this would have to be a separate ticket show, if it was his full set and production etc. Plus there’s a few tour dates throughout hhn which would disrupt that, although...
I love the videos, adds hype. Even if some aren’t as in depth as others, still adds to the hype of the house.
Also, I saw someone on Facebook earlier saying about a lack of ‘iconic IPs’ at this years event. Of course people can have their own opinion over the houses, some will intrigue more...
Sorry if this is a silly question, but is Hollywood getting Us, Hotc and Killer Klowns too? If so, then tomorrow has to be an Orlando-only original right?
Is there any more child friendly IP’s that could work as a house? Just curious as to what would be suggested.
Return to Oz would make a terrifying house.
Makes sense to me to announce HOTC next - especially with some people having doubts with Ghostbusters being ‘tame’, HOTC more than makes up for that and will make a great balance.
Hollywood hhn twitter said ‘check back tomorrow’ and also ‘I have a call on that one night’ and ‘ill see if I can dial up something’ all replying to people’s questions. Ghostbusters tomorrow it seems then!
Probably nothing of importance, but Trick or Treat studios put out a pre order for the Pluto mask from Us, being shipped September / October. Same mask company that sells its masks at hhn.
I love both of his Halloween films too, everyone has different tastes and we should all respect that. Besides, he said ‘loved’, not necessarily said it was a ‘good’ movie.
A few weeks back I saw Rob Zombie at a festival here in the UK, and towards the end of his set he fully played the 3 From Hell trailer. I think he will definitely have promotion for the new film in the scarezone, even if it’s just ‘wanted’ posters or something. Although I agree that a house and...
My problem with Us, is that is it really needed? A year with Ghostbusters, Stranger Things, UM etc - it seems like this house may be a little lost. Fair enough if they could only get it this year, but I definitely think this would have been best suited on perhaps a weaker year for IP’s. Don’t...
Wow, did not know those statistics. Maybe it just didn’t feel as big of a deal here in the UK, I’m not sure. Certainly didn’t feel as talked about as films like Hereditary and Halloween 2018 was. But maybe I’m wrong of course!
I just don’t see Us being the major IP this is been made out to be - especially to drop an original maze whilst it has already been developed. It was a great film don’t get me wrong, but I just can’t see it happening.
