    Universal’s Great Movie Escape

Which is all great and fun, but for the price and marketing surrounding it, it needed to be more. I'd argue one of the biggest mistakes made in this entire venture was including the word "escape" in the name. It automatically sets an expectation that, with their capacity constraints in mind...

    SeaWorld Orlando General Updates

I'd be shocked if those automated parking machines didn't slow things down like crazy.

    Universal’s Great Movie Escape

I'm hoping to be proven wrong but with how sealed off and bolted down everything looks, I'm a tad worried the interactive/puzzle-solving portions will be largely screen-based. Would make it easier to throttle the experience for difficulty, number of players, and throughput as well.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure (Opening Summer 2024)

Whenever I see discussions about AA’s for the Splash redo, it always feels like people forget that it’s been all but confirmed that a lot of splash’s figures (really any they can get away with) are being reused.

    USF Prop Shop Update Thread

Alright, my money is on Nintendo or Epic.

    Night Of A Million Lights

Can't help but feel like slide towers covered in lights will have a very different vibe, and probably not a better one.

    Scream-n-Stream 2022

Everything I've heard is that this year they were just stretched thinner: a taller order with the larger trail and big M&M store to fill, heard something about them losing a deal of the scenic/production talent they relied on previously, and then Ian causing a decent amount of sets to need to be...

    New Project for Dinoland?

Bingo. It's the most hidden E-Ticket at WDW (arguably in any Disney park). Repositioning its entrance and giving it a larger facade alone would increase ridership a good deal.

    SeaWorld San Diego

Honestly, I’d bet money on a near identical train design.

    Epcot Forever

But the funny thing is, neither show was that unpopular with guests. Harmonious still outperformed Epcot Forever and Rivers of Light was more of a "meh" reaction than anything else. The problem, moreso, seems to be Disney building new nighttime spectacular infrastructure in DAK that wasn't "plug...

    TRON Lightcycle Run

It mostly looked like that because work lights were on. Interior is very far along.

    Harmonious

Yeah, the new show very much will still feature IP from films.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (DHS)

My one counter to the Scoops being different is the way that the vehicle design is the exact same in every iteration, just with slightly different decals on it. Would love to see future scoop vehicles have some significant change in design to make it a smidge less recognizable.

Universal's Epic Universe Wish List & Speculation

In general, Kong is, IMO, a GREAT expectation setter for Monsters. For instance, the rumor that the land effectively turns into a scare zone at night? Would bet money against it happening, and if it happened, I’d bet even more money they discontinue it after a few years at most. There...

Revenge of the Mummy Refurbishment (Late 2022)

The only thing I’m disappointed that they didn’t take the time to change with this refurb is the queue layout. For the last decade, it feels like, Universal has been messing around with how to integrate express into the queue between the various merge points.

    Blizzard Beach & Typhoon Lagoon

Teamboat has always had tube belts, if I remember correctly.

CityWalk Orlando Updates & Changes General Thread

Honestly, I don’t mind this policy being implemented. What I do mind is this policy being implemented without any formal announcement. I get that it’s better PR, enabling them to let it slide under the radar, but it’s terrible practice for guests.

Revenge of the Mummy Refurbishment (Late 2022)

Them decorating the ramp is already one of the best things to come out of this IMO.

    Hershey Park

Agreed. Wildcat is a dang good layout, and RMC’s usually completely redo the layout. Would rather see this updated with maybe a new element in there instead of a complete redo. Unfortunately though, my gut says we’re getting RMC Wildcat

    Harmonious

It’s sad that that is a true statement and it’s also the highest rated nighttime spectacular on property at the moment…
