I was going to take a golf trip to Scotland this spring and have rescheduled it. It’s my understanding that summer bookings for next year for international golf trips are red hot. So, I think you will start to see international airline travel recover in a big way starting around next May.

I stayed at the Portofino a few weeks back. Talked to several people during my stay who had bad experiences with Haggrid’s. Universal is giving people things like money off of their hotel rooms, free cabana rentals, and free private transportation for all those who complain hard enough.

I went there last night and just got the S’mores dessert. It was a little expensive for what it was ($18 for two people), but it was very fun.

So just got off the ride. In my opinion, UO just pulled a “hold my beer” moment in response to Star Wars Land. Ride was simply amazing!

Hahaha!! Yeah...that’s a problem in my book.

So it seems like today was the first day I’ve read multiple complaints from people about how Universal is handing the situation. Hopefully today will be a learning experience for them.

With the whole “just wait several months” thing, people who booked upcoming vacation packages like myself simply can’t do that. I was expecting delays, but nothing like this.

Wow. Is this an issue that could shut down the ride completely for a day or two? If so, then it could be a PR nightmare for UO when dealing with gusts who have bought multi day packages.

Or get to a point where they can say that it's "opening at 11" or "opening at 12." That way people can plan their day easier.

You think they would not let people cue at 11:15?? I actually think this would be a huge mistake.

Does anybody have any updates from the park? How many people are in line as of 11:15? Going to be there for a week next week and staying over at Portofino. I had my plan of attack all set, but now I obviously have to change it. Pretty annoyed but things happen.

I think it is going to be interesting to see how the ride performs today. If it performs OK (which I think will happen), then people will be happy. However, if it performs poorly, then I think Universal will be flooded with customer complaints.

They had early entry for Hogsmeade and Diagon Ally when both of those opened. It seems weird they didn’t have it for Hagrid’s.

I thought it was a red flag when they didn’t make IOA part of early entry.

If they were smart, they would start giving out small free samples of food from Big Fire to the people in line. That way they could make standing in line more tolerable and promote their new upcoming restaurant. I’m sure 3 or 4 years from now Universal will come out with a press release like...

I think this is Universal pretty much admitting they opened this thing up too early.
