Disney really has been targeting Florida locals with this and the water park deal. If it wasn't for this ticket offer expiring in September, I would probably bite and visit WDW for the first time in a decade. However, there is no way I'm going to a theme park in the summer. Last summer was...
I'm happy they killed this project. We already have enough traffic in Kendall to deal with. What they need to do is rebuild the zoo. I made the mistake of getting an annual pass this month and was shocked at the sorry state of Zoo Miami. The majority of the exhibits were closed or empty of...
I just watched a much better POV posted on themeparX.
I am impressed with how well the screens blend with the surrounding sets.
They did a great job blending the ceiling of the building throughout the ride.
Given the placement of the final gazel AA, I wonder if there is a B mode for that...
Quick update from yesterday. The water levels look pretty low. No fountains yet that I could tell.
Judging from the last lagoon show construction cycle my guess is the same summer 2024.
I’m looking forward to a show returning to the lagoon soon.
The queue was backed up to the express split. that helped with being able to notice all the different effects. Even got to see Botanicus twice.
The lights were definitely bright and it almost felt like they were moving. Very realistic. Being backed up in the queue helped. Was it always split...
So back in September on Sunday the 15th I noticed the work lights were on in the ET queue during HHN. At the time I payed no attention but then the next day the botanicus AA was restored, though his audio track could still use some help. Now today i noticed the “ET being chased thru the woods”...
Not the ET thread but Botanicus was working yesterday when I rode. As much as I would love an expanded queue experience I think Alicia is right and this is mostly gonna be pavement work for the kidzone project. Im hopeful it leads to more love for ET.
welp. Another show I didn’t get to see because of weird closing hours and events. I will say Universal has been very good at continuously updating the lagoon show every couple years so very much looking forward to the next integration of tech.
I'm looking forward to the games more than anything, I agree that the mini-games are the best representation of the Mario games. I would love to see the concept expanded. An indoor playground with multiple games would be great in the Florida summer.
The concept art video that shows the night and day comparisons is WDW version (two seater logs) and it has the after tower and doesn’t include the Tree or Boat.
