Hey everybody, I've been away from the boards for a while (mostly because I've been in college for the year and was pretty busy), but now that I'm on vacation, I'm going to Islands this weekend to visit Wizarding World. I'm trying to figure out how much I'll be spending there, so does anyone...
The one thing I would change for Jurassic Park would be the Discovery Center. Just a general rehab of the area and a bit of a technological upgrade to some of it's exhibits. Specifically, I'd like to see the Raptor birth be far more interesting and realistic. I expected it to be far more like...
THEY HAVE EXTENDABLE EARS NOW?!?!?!?!!!
...sorry, it's been a while since I've been to the site, so this news makes me freak out. Has someone bought an ear? What are they like?
I'm sure that by the time the new Muppets movie rolls around, Disney's advertising campaign for the franchise will be in full swing in the parks. The Whatnot Shop will be up and running, and hopefully we'll get more Muppet related stuff.
A really nice sitdown Muppets restaurant with a show...
I visited WWOHP for the first time yesterday, and let me start out by saying that Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is my new favorite ride in the history of ever. I walked off the ride just like I walked out of Inception: not entirely sure of what I just experienced, but upon reflection...
I don't know if this has been posted yet, but A Very Potter Sequel, the follow up to A Very Potter Musical was released onto youtube a few hours ago.

No. No no no no no no. This is a bad idea for many reasons, notwithstanding my hatred for this book series. I simply don't see a way to make a theme park out of a book series that focuses mainly on the romantic aspects of the protagonists rather than elaborate and detail the great basic ideas...
Thanks for the link! I checked out the website, and clicked on "Scenery"; these people designed the Aggro Crag from GUTS! It's not that incredible to believe, this is a Central Florida based company that seems to have a very long relationship with Universal Studios (and formally Nickelodeon...
Thank you! I'm really excited, I'm already planning on what I'm getting, which includes a wand, butterbeer stein, golden snitch, and a large assortment of honeydukes candies. Are they selling extendable ears? I thought they would be, but it seems that they aren't from what I've heard.
I'll finally be making my trip to WWOHP on July 26th to the 28th, and I'll be staying onsite at one of the hotels. I haven't been on the boards in ages (mostly due to dilute the spoiling that I could get from constantly reading them), so forgive me for my next question if it's been answered...
They showed a time frame of Hogsmeade village, but not Hogwarts. All in all, a bore for me, but my family who has listened to me talk my butt off about this park for two years were happy with it. They finally understood what exactly will be there and saw video of the park, so now they're as...
I haven't been following this thread that much for a while, so I don't know if this has been addressed or questioned, but here I go:
Is anyone as afraid as I am that FJ won't be open for the Grand Opening? Teebin's story (which is so about FJ) makes me think that something terribly wrong...
According to reports, they're supposed to be fiber optic signs that flash "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey", very similar to the "Tower of Terror" sign hidden in the Hollywood Tower Hotel sign.
Aaaaand I'm really wrong.
Wait, aren't there vegetable carts next to the snowman? I remember specifically seeing some sort of food vending cart on the street in the animated tour, but I assumed it would be theming that wouldn't be interactive. But maybe it's got something g to do with the magic neep, or magic turnip...
Is it an outside window for the three broomsticks restaurant? That answer sounds confusing, so I'll put it plainly: if one were to walk down that alley, would they see an open window with an employee with a cash register and a large menu behind them? It would mean that the "counter-service"...
