    Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit

I will not consider Supercharged gone until its replacement opens. And that's apparently not happening for a long while. Bafflingly and inexplicably.

    Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit

We could have a lot of things. Yes, my ultimate preference would be for GB to get a dark ride or effects show, but I'd also rather see GB get a coaster than see F&F have two rides in the park. But it's kind of an irrelevant point, anyway, since all indications are this HRRR replacement won't...

Universal Studios Florida: What Do We Think About It?

We'll see how Dark Universe shakes out, but I suspect there would be the option to include a scene from a Classic Monsters movie (because Dark Universe is not based on the movies, but inspired by them) without feeling like there's overlap. Recreating the grand staircase of Castle Dracula would...

    They better not!

    Future of Toon Lagoon

I like Toon Lagoon. I don't often do the rides (because River Adventure usually fills my "Ride I'll accept getting soaked on" quota), but I enjoy the look and vibe of the land quite a bit. All I think it could use would be a semi-significant non-water attraction (a C/D-ticket level dark ride...

    Future of Toon Lagoon

I like your optimism... but let's not get ahead of ourselves!

Universal Studios Florida: What Do We Think About It?

I was just riffing off @saint.piss' original post with those specific properties. I'd be perfectly happy to see a wide variety of films from all eras also represented.

Universal Studios Florida: What Do We Think About It?

Bringing this over into this thread to avoid derailing a different one! This would be my dream project for USF, as well. I don't expect they would ever do this even if they went with the concept, but you could even pull scenes directly from some of those older attractions for inspiration...

    Future of Toon Lagoon

Other than addressing Lost Continent, IOA doesn't need anything for a long time. USF needs a decade's-worth of sustained attention.

I'll take anything that can be legally sold in the online store.

    Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit

If the park is getting a F&F coaster, I think Supercharged needs to be replaced in very short order. I am not in favor of just shuttering the building and leaving it closed indefinitely.

    Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit

Consensus seems to be that Supercharged isn't going anywhere any time soon.

    Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit

I still can't fathom Universal thinking USF needs two F&F rides.

Tropical Americas w/ Encanto & Indiana Jones to replace DinoLand?

WDW had three trackless rides in various stages of construction at one time, too. Seems design teams get a bit fixated on an overlapping approach sometimes. I happen to like boat (dark) rides, so this wouldn't bother me. That said, it is a little weird that we could plausibly have Jungle...

    Epcot (General Discussion)

I don't think 19 months would be long enough (by Disney's standard pace) for the kind of complete overhaul most of us would hope to see, anyway. If they're ever going to re-do Journey, I want a top-to-bottom new version (taking inspiration from the story structure of the original ride).

    Horror Movies Thread

LATE NIGHT WITH THE DEVIL There’s not quite enough here to really justify the 90+ minute feature length, but it so nails the aesthetic it’s aiming for that it’s constantly entertaining, even during the sections that feel more narratively padded-out (as a side effect of sticking to the structure...

    Universal Orlando Resort Misc Refurbs

Is there an actual issue with the attraction, or is this more cost cutting?

Hopefully whatever issue they're encountering now will enable them to avoid the same problem with Epic Universe's version.

DreamWorks Land coming to USF (2024)

Is the E.T. entry arch still moving as part of this, or has that been scrapped?
