Is Rockit a Success or Failure?

I don't know what those are but I don't think they are trim brakes. The spine on that section of track is not low enough for calipers to be placed there. And the magnetic brakes don't look like that. It's something else.

Race Through NY Starring Jimmy Fallon

E-Stopping is a big deal but as long as you can justify that the safety of the ride/guests/team members was compromised then you're ok. That's how it generally is at Universal at least...

Forbidden Journey Refurbishment (Update: Early Dec)

^ I heard they were having some issue with the matrix system. The matrix allows them to tell the system which dome in a carousel they don't want to use and the system will shine a light on the cars in load that would end up going to that dome so the loaders won't load it. I gather that there...

Forbidden Journey Refurbishment (Update: Early Dec)

    ^Spider-man ran from 1999-2012 without a refurb.

    "The Repository" VR House

Just a heads up to those reading reviews. The virtual reality segment has seen some minor but significant improvements since opening weekend.

    Incredible Hulk Coaster Refurb

    ^That's exactly why.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade (Orlando): Part 2

Forbidden Journey opened at around 6pm today.

    Springfield Expansion

I do not understand at all how they worked out a singles line on that ride.

Skull Island: Reign of Kong - General Discussion

Restricted areas are generally just ride track. Catwalks are not off limits as long as they are isolated from the ride track/show animation. So being up on catwalks while the ride is in operation is no big deal at all. Manual can mean many things. In general, the ride will run itself unless...

    Revenge of the Mummy Refurb?

Good idea, but I doubt it. Orlando has more RVs than Hollywood's.

    Spider-Man getting HD Upgrading

Hey, if there's another axis of motion available, you might as well use it. I don't know their exact speed but the RVs can move faster than a person can run, and during the ride the top speed is a nice jog.

    Incredible Hulk Coaster Refurb

That support appears to be scenic. Definitely not something from B&M. And B&M is very picky when it comes to things. Track is either made in Switzerland or the plant in Ohio, the end.

    Minor glitch on Hulk tonight

You people are overthinking too much haha. Resetting an E-Stop is easy... once the fault causing it has been taken care of. There's only a few things that would lead to an evac on a ride as simple as Hulk. Something probably stopped working that required a repair that wasn't possible with guests...

Is Rockit a Success or Failure?

The RV's on Rockit engage a busbar as they enter the station, the bus bar being very similar to the dark rides. The busbar runs the entire length of the station. It is used to activate the compressors on the car to unlock restraints and verify restraints are locked. It is also used to carry the...

    Terminator Motorcycle?

I have no idea where to find it, but there is in fact video somewhere of the bike running around on stage by itself.
  17. Spideyfreak

    Terminator Motorcycle?

^Not really. It's pretty much a mini Spider-man vehicle running around the stage. There's a track, bus bar, and the bike has a motion profile.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade (Orlando): Part 2

They look like sprinkler head covers. The cover is attached to the sprinkler head. When it drops down it will allow the sprinkler to douse the room. Hopefully it's never needed.
