I began buying Butterbeer less often because of the price increases. Never too young for a "back in my day…!" moment. They've skimped on the foam too!
I rarely get one because it barely feels worth it anymore, and I used to order 2 at a time in the beginning whenever I visited! Instead I'll get...
Is the old Blue Man building currently used for anything? Could it be demolished for more coaster space?
Getting through that area would be so much easier during concerts. It would also get people to travel further into the park.
Could it be related to the state of the track or the vehicles? Or something less severe and be something as simple as needing a system upgrade like Mummy?
If it's fleeting and in the distance like in Gringotts the AI/CGI may not be so bad but a touch of uncanny valley wouldn't be a surprise.
This is what I'm really looking forward to. There's no way the ride would feel the same without her.
In the books and movies it was like she was holding...
Nothing will top the train glued to the track by its own wheels. :lmao: I knew the ride had issues but jeez!
There are some parts of the coaster I like but altogether it's not something I'll miss very much when it's gone. The recent coaster projects coming up from Universal have been awesome so...
The second one is definitely worse especially if that's the first impression of your new park and it's the reason you booked the trip. If anyone has to book their trip this far ahead then going in the last half of the year would be a better bet. Any luck and even if it's not officially open...
There wasn't much info since it was focused on a few of the people working in the land with a close look at a couple of minor theming elements in the background and a quick view inside the building for what looks like the show from the catwalk above the stage.
This was the greatest bit! Once...
Underwater corals and robotic fish in World of Color fashion? Yes please! I can see this having a similar atmosphere during the day as Pandora and the nighttime underwater lighting and a small special effect show bringing on a whole new world feel.
They heard you! Now if only the entrance looked like this it'd be perfect.
I still think this area could used some snowy rockwork between PT and Manta. At least it looks a lot more wintry.
It looks like the additional theme elements are already there? A few small rocks and a log. One of...
A part of that might factor, and I wouldn't be surprised if they took into why those other projects fell through.
Another factor I'm thinking is if Universal does build this they're also trying to get as many residents immediately around them out with some gentle financial nudging so they don't...
1) Wow this is going to be a very long construction thread and 2) it's neat seeing Universal go all-in being open about this from the very beginning. It's so different from years ago when it seemed like you couldn't glance at construction without security looking at you funny and now it's like...
Being pedantic it could be as early as July for "months." Maybe they're working on the finalizing schedule between EU announcements, the preview center, this, and the other things coming up soon. There's a lot to coordinate within the parks, media, etc.
It really is something that that ride has been able to easily maintain that reputation for so long. Taking out that ride only means PKMN is going to be scrutinized a lot more because of that.
I'm with you there but it's already been decided so just gotta roll with it. :sob:
I wonder if people...
I was going to say part of the reason the walk through LC feels so long is because it doesn't have a ride. Then I remembered. It's only been 14 years.
I like the idea of a meet and greet with mythological characters or something along those lines. The lack of kinetic energy in this space...
I don't see it as a downgrade solely on a slower moving ride because that translates to more time in each scene. Since I'm assuming we're getting Mario Kart-level of theming quality that's a good thing.
(Pulling this post into a more appropriate thread…)
I wonder if this means they'll gut the interior of Spider-man or reuse the same layout with the new system? This is the first time Pinterest has come in handy (and I hope this is legit):
If they're able or planning to knock out some walls...
It'd be something if they brought back the original concept for the ride and have the track extend into CityWalk a bit.
I think that plan also included the coaster being open after USF closed at one point? Reminds me of the rumor for Celestial Park's rides staying open when the rest of EU...
ET but Pokémon? Yes! No matter what form it takes it should be a AA-packed ride with few screens, whether it's a boat ride, something like a SCOOP, or even an ET-style ride.
For me it's less about the mode of transportation and more about what we're doing on that ride (observer vs...
Immersion ruined. :sob: I've only seen the movies once and haven't watched the other things released since. I should get on that. I had no idea the series had gown so much since the first trilogy until recently.
Well that was a bit of an interesting read. I would love to see something...
