Jurassic World VelociCoaster - General Discussion

I’ve already ridden this ride plenty of times since its soft opening in 2021. I can safely say this is not just my favorite coaster at Universal, but it is right up there with some of the best coasters I’ve ridden! For perspective, I’ve ridden 211 coasters as of today; I would put VelociCoaster...

    Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit

Kind of a bummer that they only have one song per genre now. Glad I rode it a couple weeks back with “Pump It” (Black Eyed Peas). I guess “Waterloo” is my go-to song now lol! Honestly, I still like the ride, though it’s definitely been dwarfed by better coasters since my first ride on Rockit in...

The Old HHN 30 Speculation Thread (2020)

Even though I’m devastated it had to come to this, I saw this coming. They definitely made the right call here.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure (Opening Summer 2024)

I for one am excited for this change. I enjoyed the original ride, but I think it's about time they change it's "Song of the South" theme. I hope we get some awesome jazz music for the ride. I also wouldn't mind Dr. Facilier making an appearance.

Thanks for clarifying! Oh my god, this man is absolutely nuts!!

Theme Parks & Shopping Districts Reopening General Thread

I saw some of those posts. Jeez... If you can’t wear a mask for “health reasons,” why on earth would you go to a theme park with a respiratory pandemic happening? It boggles my mind. I might have missed something, but what exactly happened with Fun Spot’s owner? I know he let Fun Spot open...

Effects of Coronavirus (COVID-19) On Entertainment & Tourism Industry

I really don’t believe Universal would do something like this. If the only option for HHN this year is taking away one of the signature features of the event, I think Universal would simply cancel it. No need to risk team members’ health for an event like that. Not to mention the unruly/drunk...

    Iron Gwazi (General Discussion)

Agreed with that. Steel Vengeance, as of now, is by far the best coaster I’ve ridden. This one, however, has potential to be just as good if not better.

    Tidal Wave Officially Closes

The way things are going with this project, it's most likely not going to happen, but I'm now really hoping an RMC comes to Florida some day. I just rode Steel Vengeance a few weeks ago, and I was impressed with how amazing it was! It's probably one of my all-time favorite coaster experiences!

Teen Titans Go! To the Movies

I mean don't get me wrong, I don't necessarily believe the movie should be judged by the series, and if someone out there likes the series, that's great! But to me, Teen Titans Go is just a bunch of fart jokes and toilet humor, combined with episodes that call out and make fun of anyone that...

    What's your song on HRRR?

My usual songs on HRRR are either "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys, "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" by Daft Punk, or "Stronger" by Kanye West.

    SeaWorld Orlando's Future Plans

I believe you're referring to Drachen Fire. That ride could easily be a star flyer, though I agree that the land rumored for Spain has potential for something big with that land (a giga coaster with that seems like asking for too much considering the state of the company, though it would be...

What's next for Busch Gardens Tampa??

Ah that's right, I totally forgot about that. Haha, thanks for clarifying!

What's next for Busch Gardens Tampa??

There's no way Cedar Fair selling Carowinds. The company has been making big investments to the park, and are even planning a resort hotel. Didn't Ouimet once say that the park "could become the Cedar Point of the South?" Now that would be a big task, but it does show that Ouimet really sees...

SeaWorld Entertainment Corporate News (Old Leadership Thread)

I like the ideas here, especially the Luna Lagoon one, but two flying coasters in the same park seems odd...

    USF Project?

I remember Fear Factor has been discussed countless times as the next attraction to go for years. I'm surprised it's still around today. I don't hate it as much as before, mainly because 1) I haven't seen it in quite some time (for very good reasons) and 2) I always seem to forget nowadays that...

Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure Construction Discussion

Ugh, I'm really going to miss this ride. Back when it was Dueling Dragons, Ice Dragon made me conquer my fear of roller coasters at 11 years old. That said the new ride sounds like it will be a fun one!

    Mako - 2016 SeaWorld Coaster

Rode Mako on Saturday. Definitely one of my favorite hypercoasters as well as one of my favorite coasters in general (definitely a favorite in the state of Florida)! The airtime was phenomenal, especially in the back row, and the ride is so smooth! I give it an A! It's so awesome to finally see...

    Going to a Park Solo

I absolutely love visiting theme parks by myself! It was when I started going to college that I began visiting the parks solo. I've felt a kind of freedom going there since then. Don't get me wrong, I also like going with groups (family/friends), but I really love it when I can catch a break or...
