If you're interested in just butterbeer ice cream, I found out today that you can get a cup at the outdoor butterbeer stand (to the right when entering DA). It was just a plain white cup. AP discount works as well!

I still believe that Sea World has the most complete Christmas event out of all the parks. With the combination of lights, shows and ambiance, I was really impressed with the event. Never really cared for Uni's Christmas events. Kinda bland, and there's just not a whole to do.

My only gripe regarding this silly outdoor queue is that only half of it is covered. I do believe, however, they could have done more (like theme the fans) but it's really not the end of the world.

You can't exactly compare the budget of a Disney attraction to the budget of a Universal attraction though. Universal's money tends to go quite a bit further than Disney's. Also, the fact that the Frozen M&G is supposedly up to a 300min wait, does prove that regardless of what Disney builds...

You have to flip over your ticket for it to be scanned (so the barcode is facing downwards towards the ground). There's no mechanism that takes the ticket.

Sorry, this is a pretty awful picture, but the finger scanner is boxed and the ticket scanner is circled. Nothing has really changed other than how the system looks.

Not sure if it has been talked about already, but it looks like Uni might be trying some new turnstiles at the front of the park. This was at IOA on the very far right. Much sleeker looking system them the one they have currently.

I think it's more the fact that it's something new and most guests are unaware that the system has changed. Some of the people I talked to assumed that fast pass had just been eliminated altogether. I'll like the system better if you can get more than 3 fast passes a day.

I still feel that if there's going to be any real growth at CityWalk, they need more experiential restaurants and not run of the mill, mediocrity. I think Antojitos is a step in the right direction, but the exterior leaves a lot to be desired.
