I lost track of my exact number, but I think it's around 140
Lightning Rod (Dollywood)
Intimidator 305 (Kings Dominion)
Goliath (Six Flags over Georgia)
Mako (SeaWorld Orlando)
Thunderhead (Dollywood)
El Toro (Six Flags Great Adventure)
Nitro (Six Flags Great Adventure)
Manta (SeaWorld Orlando)...
Usually Embassy Suites, which both are also five minutes from the park. They're usually in the $100-$130 range but have the whole comp drinks thing. Although I have stayed at hotels for stupid low rates before. A few years back I had $30 a night at one of the hotels on Universal Blvd. It was...
I feel like you're seriously overpaying. You can find hotels with more amenities than Universal's for less. And if you just want the bare basics, you can certainly find something under $90. I've never personally found Universal's hotel offerings to be worth, but that's as an AP and in-state...
Theoretically, it can't launch until after it clears the switch track unlike Thirteen and Verbolten. At least not at full speed, you would hit the turn on the switch to hard. So it would be drop-> awkward slow bit-> launch. There may be a clever way around that issue, however.
What do you find intense about it? The Zero-G and Cobra roll are good, but after that the ride loses all sense of pacing and momentum and kind of just meanders about. Kumba, Kraken, and even Bizzaro to a lesser extent keep up throughout the entire ride and are much more forceful in my opinion...
Rockit is a weird ride, I can see how many wouldn't like it especially with all the brakes. Something like Cheetah Hunt would have been amazing.
Significantly. Rockit pulls crazy G's in the treble clef and pops of airtime while Hulk is probably the weakest B&M sit-down looper I've been on.
That's the ride's breaks. Dragster has four rails in the roller coastery bit. But adding rails just changes the area moment of inertia, and could be for structural or intensity reasons.
Unfortunately, I don't believe any non-avian dinosaurs have been discovered in Florida. Plenty of more recent prehistoric animals like mammoths and saber-toothed cats though! Not as much a Jurassic Park and more so Cenozoic Park
Meh. X and Y got me to buy a 3DS, these aren't going to get me to buy a Switch. Hopefully the Go catch mechanisms and lack of wild Pokemon don't leak into the 2019 games.
Losing a small plastic card on a ride is easy. If you lose your finger print on a ride you'd be having much more serious problems than getting your items out of a locker.
Why on Earth do they feel the need to do this? The fingerprint scanners are amazing, the only problems are the tight spaces...
At the park. Power went off about 5 minutes after opening, the surrounding area is also out. They put out cornhole and jenga for kids to play with and the hospitality house is open with power.
Edge of Africa and the back half of the park are still closed.
Hulk isn't a particularly good coaster. Maverick, which LintemuthStudios mentioned, is less than 100 feet tall and is considered one of the best roller coasters in the world. Universal could easily theme such a ride into an amazing themed experience. Taron at Phantasialand is an excellent...
Depends what you want out of a park. Busch Gardens has vastly better zoological facilities, landscaping, and rides than any other park in Florida. Certainly lacks in storytelling elements compared to Disney parks but it probably has the second best roller coaster collection in the world behind...
