Is the whole hotel open, including the three pools/club room/Mandara Spa/etc? And I'm assuming the main COVID restrictions include mask wearing and social distancing in the lobby?

Mardi Gras at Universal starts the weekend after Rock the Universe, which going by experience will probably bring in a more noticeable crowd increase.

Walk-ins only after 6pm. The outside deck usually has little to no wait while the inside part varies. Seeing as there is no HHN on October 1st I can't imagine the wait would be too bad.

I have a Portofino room booked for Monday of next week through Saturday. When is the latest I can move my check-in date back a day or two? I'm waiting to try to get the most accurate and up-to date forecast without having to lose money on the original booking.

Has the quiz section of the app for this ride ever worked? It seems like there is meant to be some kind of feature that allows riders to compete and for their scores to be displayed on screens in the queue but I've never seen it working.

I was disappointed with this lounge when I visited last week. There wasn't enough seating and the design was way too Coke focused. The charging stations and granola bars/chips are a nice touch, but it just isn't enough. I would much rather have a separate AP line at entry instead of this room.
