The "battery pack" in the 3rd picture is the same thing that was being used last week when releasing the lapbars in the loading station when they weren't coming up automatically.
I believe it's the latter, as in, not noticed as an effect. At the end, part of the screen "disappears" creating a "doorway" for the cart to exit the scene/room. If it's used somewhere else, I have no idea where.
I just want to point out that these are the same video, and their source is my original video which can be found here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SBdQIS_JXyM
These guys just took the time to flip the video whereas I didn't care :P
They were only running 2 carts today, whereas there were 3 on Monday and Tuesday and I believe yesterday. One of the carts would not release all 3 rows of lapbars when pulling in to the station, so engineer-looking people would get down on the ground and use some weird contraption-hose thing and...
Some gringotts "things"...first ride today, halfway through we had no audio, the scene with bellatrix and voldemort played, the carts moved but no audio. Ok whatever but then in the next room/scene, both the audio from the previous scene (that hadn't played) and the current scene's audio played...
Ok I'm aware this is EXTREMELY poor quality, like you have to tilt your head to kind of see some things, but here is our attempt at an on-ride video of Gringotts. At least you can hear most of it. Commentary courtesy of my brother...

So when the gringotts cart pulled in to the loading area, the TMs had to manually lift all of the lapbars - the cart was empty because we were the second set of riders. Just thought that was interesting - not saying that's what's wrong with it or anything.
Some good news for the older wizards here: I was chosen at ollivander's this morning and i'm 24, not to mention they pulled the 10 children to the front of the crowd before they started, so I was sure one of them would be chosen. Needless to say, I felt pretty lucky!
Has it always been $4.25 for frozen butterbeer refills in the stein? Also, a couple of effects aren't working/working properly on FJ, but I'll post those in the spoilers thread.
From my experience in the FJ queue, they would need two Dumbledores/DADA classrooms to make the rope/door thing work, meaning, to keep the ride vehicles full. I can imagine the empty seats cycling around and around FJ if there were doors and the stoppage of the queue for the entirety of the...
Hmm, I'm wondering if this is the same bartender I had, um, problems with both of my visits... Did you happen to watch when the GO was on the Today show? He was the bartender in the segment that showed the HH.. it was either on there or the WW NBC special, but I know it was the guy, whichever...
I'm not sure about cutting the line off to get in to the WW before park closing, but I did notice that at 9pm the Ollivander's line had been cut off (with a TM standing at the end) since it had been a 3 hour line pretty much all day - this was Friday, btw.
The answer to the question is yes. That's how everyone is entering today, the LC side is the only exit then. The early hour ppl enter thru LC side but that's shut off right at 8:45-9 to become the exit. Yesterday morning what I heard was that the line they formed for the hotel guests went...
