What costs $90? The wands are around $50 and can be used over and over again, can't they? In any case, mean words can come from people dropping money on wands too.
Other than playing MarioKart with my son on his Gamecube a few times about 15-20 years ago, I have no real knowledge of any of these characters or games. You all are talking a foreign language to me! I do not like shooter rides like Midway Mania or Buzz lightyear, I think they are lazily made...
Jeez, our Hogsmeade seems to work out just fine with all of the interactive elements there. We aren't savages down here. If you are concerned about the "type of crowds" perhaps Osaka is a better fit for you, lol.
Soarin' Over California, Grizzly River Rapids, California Screamin' and the beer truck were the best things there those first few years. Even with all the additions since then, there still aren't enough rides. Especially when you have the far superior Disneyland across the esplanade.
I never liked how it ruined the sight lines at the Bates Motel. It was also falling apart. I would be happy to see the plane crash site cleared also. That thing has run its course.
Was anyone really waiting for Avatar though?
As a Californian who had ridden Test Track, we weren't really waiting for one. I mean, Test Track isn't that great, IMO. When we did get Radiator Springs Racers, we realized even more what was wrong with Test Track. The ride system isn't really...
The point value is way too high for these rooms as well. You can stay in a regular studio for fewer points at a couple of the DVC resorts, and for just a few points more than these rooms you can stay at any of the DVC resorts on the monorail or near the International Gateway.
I have no plans...
Looks like a fun ride. Would be more excited about it if Darth Vader was chasing you and Han, Luke, and Leia were helping you escape. I'm in no rush to ride it.
I have no idea, but I'm getting a hydrolater vibe from that part. Less like Star Tours, more like a room you stand in, with a vibrating floor. You enter in one set of doors on the outside and exit another set of doors inside the building. The video shows people standing on that "ship".
Some people don't like heights, and the method of evacuation looks like a white-knuckle experience as well. Also, buses, monorails, and watercraft aren't dangling by a cable yards in the air. Count me as one who will not be riding these things, especially after this.
Many of those homes have been there long before USH became a theme park. It used to be just a movie studio with a tram tour and some shows. Many of the nearby homes are worth $$$ and shouldn't have to move because Universal decided to turn the studios into more of a theme park. It's always...
I have a number of friends and family in the TV/movie business. The sets and soundstages at Universal Studios are in use constantly and they frequently have jobs there. The tram tour has always worked around that and yes, since it's a working studio so sometimes the tour has to be rerouted...
Why don't they just turn Johnny Depp back into Colin Ferrel? I have nothing against Johnny Depp and I think he's a human being and entitled to a personal life, but I think Colin Ferrel is a better actor and was disappointed when he disappeared and turned into Johnny Depp, lol.
Also, I would...
Diagon did soft open with only HE and no Gringotts. It was packed. I personally think Disney overestimated the popularity of the new Star Wars movies. I remember when Star Tours opened at Disneyland. It drew big crowds and long lines. Instead of expanding on the original trilogy, they made...
