I don't think any house was impacted more by COVID protocols than Beetlejuice was. I'm not saying it was going to be a great house, but you can tell it was a shell of what it was intended to be. It was very obvious. I think it deserves another attempt at some point.
Annual Passholder rates also will come and go for different room types. Just keep checking. Usually the room type you want will pop up eventually. Not always, but I've never had to book a room type I didn't want just to get the AP rate.
If they are going to have the year in any logos/merch, at least have the full year and not just the last two digits. Seeing Halloween Horror Nights 24 is a little off-putting to me. I would prefer if everything had the event number and not the year, but I know they want to create things for...
This could fix most of the possible issues. Having a consolidated entry/exit area for multiple houses would be wonderful. Something that isn’t logical, but popped in my mind last year is that I wouldn’t have minded the walk to Oddfellow nearly as much if the exit to the house directly led into...
Excellent points. You also have the most recent additions to USF pretty much all being flops, it doesn't help distribute crowds in that park and probably doesn't move the needle enough to draw people away from IOA to begin with. I know most of my time at UOR is spent at IOA right now and has...
Stay and Scream lines are evidence of this. I used to be able to walk up at 3:45 and be one of the first ones in a line at Finnegans. And now, you'll probably be lined up at Transformers at that time.
I get the feeling there were A LOT of people down at Universal the past week that had no interest in doing HHN. Hotel availability was incredibly low, the parks were super busy during the day, but HHN was pretty average, if not lower crowds, compared to my previous early October trips
One thing I’ve really noticed more of over the past few event nights is a simple tactic that I personally haven’t experienced in previous years. Occasionally I’ve had scareactors hit their trigger and pop out, but then pop out again right after without the sound and lighting. That was 2 of the...
Honestly, it died down faster than expected as the night progressed. It was way, way more people for the first couple of hours compared to the two previous nights, but I think that caused some people to bail early.
Pretty noticeable uptick in crowds tonight compared to Friday and Saturday. Feels like twice as many people are here (I know that isn’t the case, but it kind of feels that way)
