Thankyou guys for the quick answers! I can understand with Terror-land and the gore but was confused about Eddie. If it was because he looked similar to the first responders then that does make sense.
I have a question, sorry if it's been answered. Why was Eddie pulled as an icon? I saw this
However, due to the 9/11/2001 terror attacks on the U.S., Eddie was pulled and replaced by the return of the previous event's icon, Jack the Clown.
What made him be pulled because of the attacks but...
What a house, this was the house i was least excited about. But loved it! Got some great effects (how about that floor huh) And even one scare actor that terrified me!
Fantastic house, all 3 of us loved it. Loved the lighting and scares. Walking into to what i think was the hospital scene was a pain though as the smoke was that dense that the people in front of us couldn't see where to go next and tried to come back out from where we had come from! Tube scene...
Re did this house last night for the second time and afraid to say it's still the poorest house! Spoke to some people in front of us while waiting for Trick 'r Treat who said they didn't even bother trying it as they had heard such shocking reviews
We did it during the hour AP preview in the daylight so apparently missed the video playing outside of what to expect inside, loved the posters inside which meant we still had an idea of what was to come!
I agree, absolutely loved this house, so much to look at. Have to admit i rushed through the Clown section as i have a slight fear of circus clowns, saw the robotic clown but apparently missed him lunging towards people? Next time will pay more attention and try to slow down. Out of the 4 houses...
Our second house on opening night, very disappointed in HDD, Purge was pretty good. Found the lighting too bright in HDD and delayed scares including a few masks falling off. We did do this in the hour preview on opening so i'm sure it will improve.
Hopefully will be better on round 2.
First house we did and loved it. Felt this house had some rooms poorer than others, but it was opening night so i'll leave judgement until i've redone it.
Out of the 4 houses we did on opening night this was by far my favourite. All 3 of us walked out and loved it. Excited to see if any of the others can top it! I have heard there are some hidden Easter Eggs in the house so will be keeping an eye out for those next time!
That makes sense, i made sure from then on to check flash was off before recording. It was mostly people having photo's taken with scare actors that were using flash, and no one was told to turn them off. Did see a few of the Universal Photographers around though so will probably stick to using...
When waiting for Carnival Graveyard a clown popped out maybe for shift change? A few people pulled out phones and was instantly told to put them away. Not too far from the entrance to the soundstage.
Then again i was filming in one of the Zones and looks like i had my flash on without realising...
Yep i get that and see the point, never thought of it like that. But surely sometimes in the houses they provide the scares before having the time to realise the dogs are there? This puppy i saw was tiny though, but maybe she picked it up and carried it once in the house.
I understand people...
