I would have loved to see them do something with the life-size HP land buildings - i.e. special hotel room experiences, etc etc. So much potential to leverage all that sqft
Or they potentially are factoring in any economic changes that may happen between now and then. Thats another angle folks need to consider -- ya'll are approaching it from the lens the economy will not see any dips. Not playing Debbie downer here, just being realistic considering various...
Maybe they have a larger land / type of attraction that could takeover the space of Simpsons + Kidzone -- i.e. demo the whole area. especially considering The Simpsons attraction is hella old
This may be a silly question, but it's just because I haven't been following, has Universal officially announced this attraction? like with concept art, etc? Reason I ask is because this project is already so far along but I haven't seen much publicity about it.
Sooo do you like leave the building??? Are you confined to the hotel? For that kind of money, do you get park passes? How are you blending the experience between parks and this hotel. So many questions. Its interesting thats correct, but semi-claustrophobic I think for the everyday traveler.
Look, for what they accomplished in a little over 2 years since announcement is worth highlighting / acknowledging. No park is perfect day one....no park is perfect even a year after opening.
For me, the one thing lacking is landscape. Maybe its better on the ground, but I was expecting more...
Lol that line is what, barely a level below the main slide platform? I wouldn't consider it lengthy/its maybe a 10 minute wait. Its testing period. I think everyone is getting a little too critical here. Give it some time / wait till the general public is in the park.
This might have been asked previously but there are tons of pages - is there going to be multiple videos? It would be cool if it was like Star Tours with different videos each time you ride
Totally agree with this statement. At the end of the day, people are really there for the parks. Not everything needs to be hyper themed to be successful. I think its a sleek hotel that offers the convenience of proximity to Volcano Bay + the parks, and offers great amenities.
I mean I've said this before, and I stick to it, this park could benefit from a closure for say even 3-4 months and just bring in a crew to get a ton of work done. The fact that they still charge $97 for a day pass is ridiculous. I'd imagine people who are visiting the area for the first time...
Wow...that is quite the drop. Sorry if this has been discussed, is it just going to be flights of stairs to the top? Elevator? I mean this is a massive structure.....
I think BriMan hit the nail on the head back on page 1. We used to make our way down to UOR at least twice a year from the NYC area, but have started to realize that it is becoming expensive for the few days we are actually there. I think we did a comparison of how this past March we could have...
i love the overall theming, but to be honest those top stacks do not seem proportional to the building size. I like the side tubing, but the main towers seem obnoxious.. just my opinion though. otherwise it looks amazing
