The two we pushed one shot us with an air cannon and scared the crap out of us lol. The other one set off a loud car horn, also scaring the crap out of us! Missed the 3rd one.
Been through all the houses 3 times now and here's my rankings:
1. Dead Waters-that facade though!
2. Scarecrow-really tied for #1
3. AHS-loved asylum and coven parts
4. The Shining
5. SAW
6. The Fallen
7. The Hive
8. Blumhouse-Purge section is crap
9. Ash vs Evil Dead-this might have been a...
We were there last night but luckily we had hit the back houses before the power went out. So has anyone heard what the reason was? News reported it but said Universal had no comment.
I went into this house not expecting much at all but was pleasantly suprised! The sets were good and I got a decent amount of scares. Now does it make me want to go see the movie? Nope, not at all. Will I go through this again if I have time? Eh, probably. The most forgettable house this...
So we know the amazing designers of all the houses at Horror Nights love to hide easter eggs all through the houses but did you know at least the past 2 years anyways that I'm aware of there is a hidden (or not so hidden) raven located in each of the houses?
Ever year we try to find these...
For anyone wondering on a good touring plan that doesn't have an AP or wants to shell out money for an express pass I've gone the last 2 Saturdays and this plan has worked great for me! Going tomorrow night and Saturday night again too.
1. You need to be at the front gates no later than 6pm...
They could also open it up and use that park area behind where the tank was last year and across from Twister. I really hope they do this: have a white box truck as in the 2nd movie drive into the scarezone (like TWD last year) with the gang with the masks. Start collecting up "victims"...
I saw Purge: Anarchy today (much better than the first BTW), and it would be absolutely perfect as a scarezone. They even can recycle the ice cream truck and fit it in rather nicely with the new movie too.
The first thing I think of when I see that picture is "The Mangler," a short story by Stephen King from the book "Nightshift." It's about an industrial laundry press in a factory that becomes possessed by a demon and smashes workers. Then it comes unhinged and heads out to find more victims to...
Great house, my 2nd favorite of the night for sure. Yes, the merman was there but I won't spoil anything about him. Tons of great characters and great scares too! First house we went through last night and I rank it 2nd behind AWIL. Pretty intense house!
Finally got to experience the new Springfield stuff last night at horror nights. It's alright I guess, didn't go into any of the food places just kinda strolled around. It's definitely a nice use of theming out that area. Did notice though it takes away from the horror nights feel, felt like...
It felt more crowded to me for an opening night than usual but that might be just because I don't have passes this year so came in the front gates with the rest of the hordes. The longest wait time I saw posted was 45 min which was really 60. BTW the wait times overall were just stupid they...
In my opninion Bnt has been slowly going down hill the last few years and I thought about skipping it all together tonight but I'm so glad we didn't. I thought this year was one of the funniest ones they've done in many years and never got bored. It's worth the time to check it out for sure...
Easily one of the best houses I've been through in my years of horror nights attendance. I jump but don't really scare easily and I have to be honest I actually had a nightmare last night about those friggin wolves. Do not miss this house!! And never, ever believe the wait times they were so...
You're never too old for HHN! I'm 41 and have been going for years now and love every second of it! In fact last night on opening night my wife and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary in the park with our two teenage sons.
My boys are teens now but have grown up with the Disney waterparks. Honestly I think both are good for the little ones but if you have to choose one I would go with Typhoon lagoon. My kids loved the little kids area, the wave pool, and we could never get them out of the lazy river ride.
