    CityWalk Expansion

Yeah, in Raleigh, NC at one of their other locations the walls are lined with posters of parody artwork that includes the Cowfish logo. So to everyone who jumped on you for being crazy, he's not. Nice one, though, I never noticed it was present until now. Score one for CityWalk today.

    CityWalk Expansion

There's plenty happening. Just not much to talk about. Right now the work on Starbucks, Viva, Hot Dog Hall of Fame, and the Universal Studios store are visually observable, but with very little to see sans construction walls and beams. After Starbucks can move, they can start the work on...

    Antojitos: Authentic Mexican Food

I hit it up two days ago. Honestly, the best Mexican food I've ever had, and some of the best restaurant service I've ever been graced with. I had the pineapple chicken tacos, and date had the strip steak tacos. Both were absolutely incredible. Salsa and guacamole was fantastic too. Will...

    Cabana Bay Beach Resort

A few things grabbed from their website: Lazy River Courtyard, Hideaway Bar and Grill, Tower Family Suite and Standard Rooms will not be available until grand opening on 7/1/2014. A variety of convenient dining options include a food court open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Starbucks®...

Wizarding World - Diagon Alley Discussion - Part 2

Clarification. 3 cars. 7 cabins per car. 8 *SEATS* per cabin.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade (Orlando): Part 2

They did. You have to realise that the same things you see as a guest are not creative decisions. Disney is notorious for wanting to maintain very strict creative control on their projects while JK wanted hers. (Ironically this relationship is very similar to that of Mary Poppins and Walt...

    Storage. Calling it now.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade (Orlando): Part 2

This. And because they're adapting it for a Japanese audience which is statistically more prone to motion sickness than the crowds here in America. I wrote out a very lengthy response a few months back as to why this isn't possible at Forbidden Journey.

    Frozen Ever After

I would still bet Universal completes another 3 rides before this would open. I'm so terribly skeptical of WDO at this point, it's sad.

The List of Missing Ride and Show Effects

Oh gosh. Twister has like half of it's effects out with no plan to replace, like cars trembling and different subtle effects. In ROTM, the Imhotep fog effect is out like 90% of the time. Forbidden Journey has the aforementioned/well-known effects off, but as well as a Ron and Harry shadow...

Wizarding World - Diagon Alley Discussion - Part 2

The long bridge is for entertainment purposes related to Ollivanders and shows, FYI. Not for guest purposes. The slope is to create a vantage point and forced perspective similar to HPFJ, but with the intent on everything seeming narrower and taller. Also, consider sight lines from other areas.

Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular - Nighttime Show

If you go to the Universal exhibit at the Orange County Heritage Museum (close enough name), they have an entire mini-exhibit on CineSpec and the parade. As for the pyro, it's launched from Disaster and Simpsons. I'm looking forward to see the next update. Especially with the NYE celebration...

Yeah I saw that right after lol. Ooops.

Wizarding World - Diagon Alley Discussion - Part 2

Wow. That last one is going to get someone in trouble. It looks like it's taken from the catwalks.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade (Orlando): Part 2

Negative. Forbidden Journey will not be getting Express in the foreseeable future. There are major logistical problems with operating with an Express line at that attraction. Most of them begin with "Lock" and end in "ers."

    CityWalk Expansion

The common sense in me says to hell with the world cuisine. The human appeal in me says rip out whatever you need to in order to put a 4Rivers in.

Jurassic World VelociCoaster Construction Thread (Opening June 10)

Except Sky Trolley is suspended above the ground and with their last height check, a kid was able to defeat the harness system without even really trying and almost fell out. It's not safe. You should not be taking your baby to the theme park, anyway.

    CityWalk Expansion

LA is very different than Orlando. Let's start there. You have a lot more foreign visitors coming from South America and Europe. They generally do not go to those foreign restaurants. Hell, I hardly see the foreigners eating inside Emeril's. The execs at UO aren't idiots. A Greek restaurant /is/...

New Water Park coming to Universal Orlando?

Typically I HATE water parks. I think they're disgusting, poorly themed, and they aren't even subtle about trying to drain every cent from your wallet. The worst part is that everything is open space so the crowds are around you instead of in queues. Between WnW Emerald Point in NC, WnW...

Jurassic World VelociCoaster Construction Thread (Opening June 10)

Just a quick note. There's nothing about Pteranodon that requires it be a "kids ride" other than it's extremely limited capacity. That's only a result of the track being downsized from the entire land/expansion plots. Plus, it's really short. It's not at all entertaining except maybe for being...
