That’s so funny! I’m sure I would have thought the same thing! It was exciting there for a hot minute thinking something new was added, but I suppose the ride has been around long enough that new elements wouldn’t be added on now.

I watched some of the videos of this ride and couldn’t really tell anything about the drop. Is the drop more roller-coastery or more like the drop on Hagrid’s? TIA

So it started raining, apparently pretty hard, and we ended up in delay mode for over an hour. Got off the ride at 2115. Silver lining was that it was dark out .... and the best ride ever!

Rode again this morning. Decided to do some other rides first then head to Hagrid’s. (Yesterday the line was shorter at about 1100 than it was at rope drop so did other rides first. Did Spider-Man, Kong, FJ then on to Hagrids at 1027. The line was not outside the ride entrance at that time and...

Finally got to ride today. Got in line at 0908 near sinbad. Was off the ride at 1103. Posted wait time was 180 minutes, took us 115. When we got off, the line wasn’t visible outside the actual queue and the wait time said 120, I’m guessing it would have been shorter. I’d have like to have gotten...

In my head I had the trains moving faster, but at least this way you can enjoy the scenery more. Unless it just seems slower because it’s so quiet?

I like the idea someone else had of fog by the spike... that could really be exciting.

I like the look of the rockwork with the moss. And I like the look of the rockwork with the snow. But the two set so close together not so much. I hope they can somehow blend the new ride into Hogwarts.

Then I’m thinking we’ll upgrade our tickets to ap’s this August! :love:

Is the thinking that this ride will be open next summer?

Has anyone mentioned what the ride capacity may be? I’ve only looked at the last few pages which got me wondering what the guest turnover would be?

I think that if a person doesn't do re-rides or watch street shows (the Hogwarts Frog Choir and the Durmstrang/Beauxbutons show in WWoHP) you might get thru the park rather quickly. Especially if they don't like water rides and/or thrill rides. But if you are not a commando person but one...

After reading this thread, I was determined to try getting up there if we could find it on our trip last October. Doors were not locked, and as it was starting to rain, it seemed like destiny to try it. It was no problem getting up there- I just wish we were invited to a party or something up...
