I have to disagree with the people telling you to stay in NY. Follow your passion. Get down here, have fun in front line positions like you want to and start networking. I know a lot of people who have made it into creative or imagineering. Good luck!
Why do they need nets at all anymore? If everyone goes through metal detection before getting on, that should have eliminated the falling loose articles issue.
Twister and Disaster both basically had no ride restrictions. So all guests including grandmothers and babies could experience these attractions. That's a huge consideration for the capacity of the park.
I know Six Flags is really excited to have this technology in their parks but it isnt ready for commercial use yet. There are a lot of things that need to be worked out still including integrating the system into the operation of a ride. Hopefully they disappear after this season.
This policy isn't only in place for guests on the ground. It effects guests on the ride too. If a loose item flies back from the front row and hits a guest in the back it can seriously injure them that way too. I think everyone is just shocked that they took it this far. But in a few years after...
When their entire company has been smeared for the last four years?
This man lost his credibility with me. I dont care if thats a joke or not. That is foul language.

I've heard they take you and show you around the bottom floor and let you take pictures. You can also ask for a booth tour at Twister and they'll let you sit in the control booth and watch a show.
I like to think that SeaWorld has learned their lesson in overselling a product as they did with Antarctica. I just read an interview with Terry and he acknowledged that they didn't do the best job of advertising that ride.
I think the concept art at this stage in the design process is...
I think Universal has been good with people moving for a long time now. Wait times aren't the only reflection of their efficiency. Transformers wait time will be about the same as last year. Yes there are more people in the park but they are much more spread out now that Diagon Alley is open.
