Most Anticipated Flavor at Florean Fortescue’s

Earl Grey with lavender was quite tasty. The lavender is extremely subtle. Now I want to try making this flavor at home (or perhaps a Lady Grey version).

It is. It really is. I'm still grinning like a goofball this morning. Looking forward to another visit next month. (If I didn't have another event to look forward to, the wait would be hard to bear.)

Despite Gringott's being down, I personally had a great time in Diagon Alley. Ate dinner in the Leaky Cauldron, bought a wand (and used it successfully), bought other stuff, and got ice cream (earl grey and lavender is wonderful). And I gaped at the dragon when she (She is a she, right?) did...

I decided to chance it and headed over to IoA and Hogsmeade after work (around 4:30ish). Got on HE, and rode it to London and back. The wait time said 10 minutes at each station, but I got through quicker than that. (And I was mighty impressed with the stations and train ride. That was pretty...

I left around 5pm after the torrential rain let up. After getting caught in that, standing in front of the station soaked to the bone in squishy shoes didn't sound like a pleasant idea. Meh, if we get a soft tomorrow evening, I'll be there. I'm a stones throw from the parks.

And it rained. A bunch of us stood out in it. Pretty refreshing for a five minute downpour.

Yep (Woodbury and folks), they were out walking around. Had a few yellow vests bringing out trash cans to place outside the fenced areas, and had a few folks out with clothes and windex bottled, tidying up shop windows and the bus.

I'm sitting by the blue/white building near King's Cross. I heard the same (no special event).

Wizarding World - Diagon Alley Discussion - Part 2

I am, though my hopes won't be dashed if softs don't happen. I head to the parks for a little fresh air, sunshine and exercise, too.

I think (and correct me if I'm wrong, The Bled), that he's noting an experience in Gringotts would be less exciting if you had to walk through it (due to technical difficulties) in lieu of riding it. If that's what was meant, I agree somewhat. However I am fascinated by behind the scenes...

Wizarding World - Diagon Alley Discussion - Part 2

Hi folks - New poster, long time reader here. I'm going to aim for Sunday morning (the first day of the HP hotel packages), but not go in with the expectation that they will be including AP's or smatterings of the general public at that time. I'm a local (just a few miles from the parks), so...
