Good for the construction team! Hope they enjoy their day. It will happen, no sense in splitting hairs over when. The longer they wait, the more a 2021 opening will makes sense.
Yes, I know its a forum which is for discussion but stating opinions or speculation as fact has got me rolling my eyes over here. Thinking top hat on 7/4 because they might plop a flag on top as its the highest point and exclaim 'MURICA.....oooookkkk.
I'm sure its been brought up elsewhere, but how odd to plop a coaster in front of the Discovery Center. Seeing it across the lake is sort of iconic. I am all for a new rollercoaster but I can see how changing that sight line is disappointing.
The resort looks like a real snooze with this concept art. I wish they would've gone with an angle that would show the larger pool. Hopefully that one has some stand out features compared to this bland quiet pool. It doesn't look so family friendly. Everyone keeps commenting the hotel looks...
Can't believe I leave on Monday for vacation....wait....actually I can. I don't think I'll be planning that far in advance next time, the waiting has been tough. I ended up doing 4 day park hopper for Disney and 1 day PTP for Uni.
Travel day doing Epcot in afternoon until night. Tuesday...
Wow you guys are awesome...it's much appreciated. As I make progress in my planning I'll be sure to ask any more questions here. The Child Swap at Universal definitely sounds more attractive than the system at Disney to me.
I hear ya I'll be 27 next month it's hard finding the right balance to maintain your sanity!
Can you use the single rider line and still child swap? It pains me to spend close to 1k on park tickets. I can't believe the price difference from 5 years ago for the Disney parks. But MK and AK is the...
Hey guys,
Last time I've been in Florida was in 2012. Time for another vacation, but my oh my have things changed! We've got our first little one tagging along with us this time. Universal may be slightly impractical to squeeze into this trip but there is no way I'm going to be in the same...
Coasters have "block" sections. Each train must clear a "block" before the next train can proceed. For simplicity sake, the lift is usually one block, followed by the mid course brake run that would be another block, the brake run is a block, and the station itself. For example, A train must...
I enjoy reading TPR, but participating...not so much. The minute you don't clarify that your statements contain some opinion there is someone ready to jump down your throat. Its as if you don't have hundreds or thousands of posts your're immediately discounted yet they claim you need a light...
Can someone do a screen-cap and post it here of the outdoor Q in discussion? Thanks. Greatful for the video but if I didn't skim through it I probably would have barfed!
I think that they could have done without the dragon all together....that would have been my first choice. With that being said, it sure is one mighty dragon. Looks absolutely insane.
Having an inanimate dragon, or limited mobility, along with the fact it wouldn't be just hanging...
All this talk about too much Potter. IMO Hogsmeade wasn't enough Potter. It felt rather small on my first visit. Figuring in the existing but re-themed attractions amplified that feeling. DA is for the good.
Amidst all the bickering, is there an expiration date on the tickets if you purchase them online? Even though prices are up at the gate, you can still snag them at the current price online...until March 4th according to Screamscape. I'm not planning on going for another 2 years or so but could I...
Exciting stuff. In my mind I always pictured Weasley's on the left hand side or a corner. But if you figure you're walking up the street (to the left) in the picture above it would be on the right. Too bad I didn't live in Orlando I'm just shy of 6'5! Great pic can't wait to see more facades...
I understand the connection between Universal and Kong, but it seems so odd to put it in IOA. I would much rather see expansions of existing Islands. I would welcome any addition of the Seuss variety. It really is a magical Island. So bright, funky, and unique. Put Kong in Studios, but of...
Better hint at the site? I can't find it! Sorry I only rely on UO for this kind of stuff...I promise I won't lose loyalty, I'm just in need of some more eye candy!! :'(
I've only been on FJ twice. One time our bench unloaded in this room I think. Do you have to take a couple elevators and corridors to exit? I remember it being odd because it was just a few of us. I guess I should consider myself lucky!
