    IOA Fun Facts

I love this thread I wish we could get another influx of facts/did you knows. Always a great read (especially at work)

    A Celebration of Harry Potter

Got an e-mail about this. I definitely think it's geared towards a younger crowd and/or die hard fans. Nothing extremely exciting and I think they're gearing up for a Diagon Alley announcement. A casual fan who just appreciates the crafting and hard work of WWoHP I don't think will get much...

    King Kong Speculation Thread

Totally agree.. especially when done right. Something powerful about real objects in operation. Way easier to look past than even the best graphics. Can't wait to see what this re-do holds.

Transport from Disney to Other resorts

I had to learn this the hard way... I waited to get to the hotel to rent a car and the rate plus tax ended up being like $75 for a DAY. Renting a car right from the airport is the best recommendation, followed by planning on staying at one of the hotels that offers shuttles.

    Twister...Ride It Out

Haha I thought my buddies and I were the only one who caught that promo/poster. Hysterically terrible.

Wizarding World - Diagon Alley Discussion (Opens 2014)

I heard/read multiple places that they still award a free night in the castle to a random family in the park on occasion.

    Air Travel

Jet Blue and Southwest are definitely top choices if you can snag them. Delta is a tier down but I would give them a runners up vote. I just recently flew Delta to Orlando back in March and had a smooth experience all around (partly luck I'm sure).

    June 2013 Trip

Impressive line up man. After all those different beers and mixed drinks in one session, I know I be feeling it :ack: Looked like a good time though.

    Twister...Ride It Out

Does this ride get "updated" or like you guys have said above, is it just adapted to whatever the surrounding conditions may be? I passed up this ride just this spring because I heard it was losing some of it's luster.

    Theme Parks: Night Photography

Haha it's weird how creepy some shots actually look. Nothing like night time to completely flip the mood and look.

    Space Mountain Refurbishment

Really hope it doesn't effect the speed of the ride much. Space Mountain is close to a perfect ride as is.

    Booking in advance... best website/method?

Yeah good deal, thanks for the extra info. That's all I ever want out of a hotel anyway after being out all day. Definitely gonna bring it up as we get closer to booking.

    The Better Places in CityWalk?

Yeah Margaritaville gets an obvious vote from me too. Being able to eat/drink at an outdoor table and people watch is a good time. Plus the margarita cups you can walk around City Walk with.. not too shabby.

    Booking in advance... best website/method?

Nice name drop, appreciate it. I was browsing the Clarion info before, looks like it has a little bit of everything and the pool area looks solid which I always hope for in a hotel in warm weather.

    Booking in advance... best website/method?

No no that helps, maybe I should have said Disney/Universal. We'll spend an equal amount of time there for sure. thanks!

    Booking in advance... best website/method?

Yeah interesting. I was thinking that too; maybe directly dealing with hotels. Thanks for the feedback so far.

    Theme Parks: Night Photography

Even cooler at night time. Awesome. Makes me want to get back and check out the new ride.

    Booking in advance... best website/method?

Hi all, A group of buddies and I are looking to make an Orlando trip come next Spring - which is fairly far in advance from now. What do you find to be the best method of booking in advance for Disney area hotels/flights? I typically use Expedia but oddly enough the more I've explored...
