Maybe I am misreading what he said, but I think he means why doesn't Universal lower their prices, making it much cheaper than Disney, not both colluding. Lower prices mean more people will go to Universal instead of Disney. This starts getting into predatory pricing at a certain point.

I have friends who are Disney Vacation Club members and normally spend about 12 days every trip at Disney, but they will be visiting Universal for an extra day or 2 next week with me. I never thought they would step into Universal property, but they want to see Harry Potter and Transformers.
